-Niko-, Alongar...
You two going to pay for the upgrades or new computer? I'm already running well over and beyond the Required Specs for the game, and on a Broadband connection... and I still lag in most player cities and get 1 - 5 FPS in most NPC cities; even with all the graphic settings down or disabled... about the only tme the game runs good ands smoothly for me is when I am out in the open with a hunting group.
Sure. I could quit the game, I dispise SOE anyway and loath their Customer Service practices. But I enjoy the game and I have friends in it whom I enjoy doing things with... I find it a nice and comforting escape from my painfully agonizing reality.
I think adding yet more unique player structures into the game is a bad mistake and should not happen. I think SOE should change the maintenance pools so players have to dump fewer amount of credits into them much more often... so that the game can keep track of what owners have accessed their structures, and purge those structures that have not been accessed after a certain amount of time... except that there should be a /vacation option on the management termainl so a player can set the structure as being on /vacation... when they are gone for extended amounts of time and then their structure wont be purged for not paying the maintenance. The only exception to that would be that the town mayor fo the player city said structure is located in can over ride the /vacation command in favor of the much anticipated /pack command... thus putting the structure into "temporary storage" until the player returns.
But no. Please do not clutter up the cities with yet more player structures that will end up abandoned after a matter of months because the owners never visit them anymore. Not that I am accusing anyone of that, just seems that too many player cities out there have houses and and other such structures like that.
