I love your work. If decorating is as relaxing for you as it is for me I wouldn't stop, but I know that customers expect everything done yesterday. Because of this I charge extra. My base price is 500k. Thats a min. That would be for a small house, and then the prices go up from there. For a guild hall I charge 2million. I also tell the client that he/she has to give me 5mil up front for any items that i need to purchase for the house/hall/shop. The prices are high, but I have gotten burned too many times not to charge that much up front. Normally what I will do is gmail the person I am decorating for at the end of every day to update them. I usually will send out a gmail of what I have spent where. Once I am done I ask them to come and check out the place before I "turn over the keys to them". Most don't even bat an eye at my prices. Matter of fact I make more than what I ask for lol. The best job I have ever done was for a great client (who is a repeat customer I might add lol), and I decorated his shop, and was paid 5mil plus. (It was a medium house.)

Sorry for babbling. What I am trying to say is I understand what you are saying, and don't stop decorating as you have some wonderful ideas.

The 2nd job I ever did I said to the guy pay me what you think it's worth and lol he paid me 20k....I was a little um well shocked...I spent 15 hours plus on that house and that was before the /move up XX command. I kinda stopped after that lol. But once I started again (I decorated my own house) and showed it off well people started wanting me to decorate and that when i came up w/the idea of you pay me for the items i purchase and then you tip me xxx for the job.

If i use your ideas I will send you a cross tell or lol gmail or even pm ya. I have many ideas myself and I completely understand what you have to say about idea thiefs lol.
