Thread: Change destruction code to 4 digits!

Now it is a 6 digit random code when you destroy a structure. I think a 4 code digit would make life a lot easier. 4 digits is enough to avoid destroyiing the structure by mistake (10000 combinations).

Not a bad idea - I think there should be a code added tto the structure terminal except for adding to the maintenance, except this code would be like a locker combo that the user could choose and turn off/on at their own will.

And don't take a one star too seriously - people run around *'s posts for fun, kinda like people who key cars randomly.

"'Empire' had the better ending. I mean, Luke gets his hand cut off, find out Vader's his father, Han gets frozen and taken away by Boba Fett. It ends on such a down note. I mean, that's what life is, a series of down endings. All 'Jedi' had was a bunch of Muppets." -Thanks go out to BrainMandinga for the AWSOME sig!

does typing in 2 extra numbers hurt or something?!

Eh, what's the big deal? Four or six, it's not that bad. It's only two more then four. It takes what, five seconds to enter in the code?

I wouldn't one star it but, Ithink the post is kind of pointless. How many structures are you rasing and dropping to make the extra 2 digits to much?

I'm sorry, I just don't see the point... two whole digits? You can't go to the extra trouble to type two more numbers? Unless you have carporal tunnel, that's really kinda sad...

rofl this is probably the dumbest thing I have ever heard someone complain about. Come on dude, do us a favor and actually go play the game rather than make stupid posts like this.

Actualy, I find it pointless to have 6 digitis , so post in my eyes is valid.

And yes, it does matter if it 4 or 6,6 digits makes it harder to read, small font small spacing = harder to read the larger the number.

You have to write destruction code everytime you re-deed a harvestor (or house).

But yes there are other things that I want to get fixed morethan this.

Actually, active miners destroy a lot of structures. They are called harvesters. I destroy, on average, at least a dozen a week.

I would like the number of confirmation digits to be reduced. One should be able to remember six digits at a glance, but my eyes are not as good as they once were. Besides, I already get enough eyestrain and practice in random-string memorization transcribing resource names and figures to SWGCraft.
