Nobody likes to move items from one house to another. Storage on vehicles could help this out a lot. There could be maybe a 25 item limit on a speederbike and a 50 or 100 item limit on an AV-21.

Also, having an AV-21 is just something saying "I'm better than you" but it has no noticable advantage over the 20k Speederbike except for better terrain navigation. This would make an AV-21 more useful.

If a bike is destroyed with items on it, that could be open to interpretation. Do the items get destroyed also or do they move to some remote location, maybe even the last place they were set?

I realize that this isnt really in the "Cities and Housing" category, but i couldn't find another place to put this idea.

Post replies to this, maybe i can be heard with my little idea.

That'd be neat, I'd be more willing to have that for mounts...provide some purpose to them and they'd be very useful for rangers. You can pack meats and resources on there. They'd be purchasable from either artisans or creature handlers...and you strap them over their shoulders. Maybe the type of mount determines how much they carry...Banthas carry more than kaadus for example.

I always figured a 20 item storage on belts should be allowed but having an item storage on vehicles is far more likely to actually get introduced. The code is there, I mean droids with Item Storage Modules operate the same way.

They just recently increased inventory space from 60 to 80 items, this extra 20 blocks of space plus a backpack you should be able to move everything from a small house at one time, unless you like to max out your house.

They have, but merchants (such as me, on the wonderful server of kettemoor) *waits for the croud to calm down* have to move tons and tons of items. Last time i moved, i had about 10 or backpacks filled to 50 items moving from Lok to Naboo. Storage vendors hold a lot of items. I had to make about 5 trips there and back with nothing but my clothes on to free up room to move.

The extra room on the vehicles could help out with items limits also, besides the fact that people would just use them as another inventory.

Heh, that would be sort of akward to come back to.

Anyways AV-21's need a better use than just to be a status symbol. They are big, so they can have a big trunk to have a dead body*twitch*-items in! It should work like how it does in real life. A car can hold much more items than a motorcycle.

I want an SUV vehicle! BWAHAHA The Big Mama-Mini Van, Star Wars Style. Hatchback AV-21's. Ah, i have too many ideas. I could create the thing myself. Take a Sudo Van and put thrusters on the back of it and you have your SUV. All terrain, except everything, excluding roads!

i spend way too much of my game time muling mass quantities of items around. i'd love to be able to load up the trunk of my car.

i'd also like to come back to my car and see jawas or tuskens rifling thru it

50 items on vehicles would be nice..but only av21s because of trunk space..lol... that and just hope it wont get blown up

20 items for Speeder Bikes and Swoops

30 items for Landspeeder

50 items for AV-21.

Does that sound like a reasonable balance? Didn't want to bump the numbers too high but the AV-21 is a monster in size so it'd only make sense.
