NICE GESTURE! PLEASE LOOK AT ALL ASPECTS OF THE GESTURE!

GarVa isn't a dev, he can't do anything about it. (But I agree with you.)
But he can sure get a word on to them about their oversight.. lol

There have been multiple posts about this problem already and the Politician Correspondent has raised the issue, with no response. Unfortunately, I don't think adding one morethreadwill make much of a difference.
Made me feel a lil bit better, so accomplished a lil bit. But i understand what your saying.
Gather some of your citizens and go run some missions. Have some of your citizens or guildmates donate items you can sell on a vendor, If you have any active BH, they may have a lot of loot to spare.
We keep our city 100% tax free by working together. It's fun and we have enough maintenance in our treasury to keep us going for a long while.

That is a wonderful idea, but it is often very hard to convince people to do things like this. And even if you can do it, it's a workaround, not a solution.

So it's a great gesture to turn maint. off. But then you still take city maint fees? What about the 8% property tax I have in my city that darn near pays for most of the fees? I no longer recieve that, and now have been forced into putting my own money into city hall. The devs either really need to turn off city maint fees while other maint is off, let me continue to collect the property tax, OR turn maint back on so that my city can pay for itself as it was a few weeks ago. 3 weeks at 500k a week is a lot for any player to have to pay out of his pocket. I understand that their are other ways to tax, but don't feel they are favorable in our cities position. This is not a flame thread, merely a...

We are looking into this, thank you for bringing it to our attention.
As an alternative to property tax, lottery droids also work pretty well. Set them to give 50% of the winnings to the mayor, and bingo. You have a venue for donating money to the city and you may even win some of the money back! A win-win situation! I have 3 droids up in my city with varying prices.
Though I agree, if they turned regular maintainance off, I don't see why city maint is still on...
I could get on a whole rant about why I don't like building maintainance anyway, but I'll spare everyone ![]()

Don't thank her yet...All she said they were looking into it...they already knew about the problem...atleast they did acknowledge it.
We had to shout, very loudly to get heard on this single issue. I am not shutting down my communications lines until this is resolved. I will keep "beating the reeds" to shake out the developers on this issue until the taxes are repaired, once and for all.
SIncerely,
Hadrian
Exactly, that's why I thanked her. No reason to be mean and grumpy.
