Thread: Bugged Mission Terminals (pub 24 bug)

Hey all,

I haven't seen any posts on this, which i'm suprised since it is a pretty bad bug, but here goes.

On tat every city i check out has a max level of 15 on the mission terminals, including those which were throwing out lvl 80 missions before pub24. NOt sure if its just the eclipse server, but this is pretty bad. Reason being that eveyone grinds from the player city of ari rather than MOP on eclipse, because of MUCH lower lag and no spammers (spammers can be banned hehe).

Can anyone tell me if the Devs have commented on this or is a wider-spread problem?

Same everywhere on Tatooine and Lok so far. It's funny because it's actualy a game-breaking bug on starsider because everyone grinds out of Nym's, which doesn't work either

I would think that his is a fix, not a bug. You are not supposed to get level 80 missions on any of the base planets. You should have to go to Dathomir, Yavin, or Endor to get high level missions. I have seen some cities on Naboo surrounded by high level aggressive MOB's that should not naturally be their. These are most likely failed missions, but they end up being crafter killers.


Sorry, I like this change.

I can't see why base planets should NOT have cl80 mobs...

Also, this is a bug since it's not mentioned in the patch changes.

By the sounds of things, every server has a grind base that's not MOP, and if you can only get missions on high-end planets which just so happen cannot have player cities, i just don't see the point. I refuse to go back to MOP, the lag is monsterous and the amount of spammers at peak time drives me insane...

It's like that in our player city on Lok as well. I wouldn't consider Lok a "starter planet" anyway....so I don't see why the missions would be capped so low. Some feedback on this would be appreciated if anyone's heard anything.

They are all bugged. I had a group of players tell me last night they had to leave the planet because of this. They were planning on xping from our city too

me too i live and grind in mos ari eclipse server and i refuse point blank to go to mop or any other non player city to grind.. for one trainers are a joke and aint flying elsewhere to learn a skill when i should get one easy in the player city i grind in.... i hope this is fixed sooner than later.. and hope they reward us for us losing valuable xp grinding cause of this.. i feel a double xp week to keep us all sweet after this patch....

While you are looking for a fix regarding mission terminals, you should also try to have a look there to fix completly terminals instead of just fixing them to work like they did in P23 (ie mission terminals were already capping in some towns)

Woohoo, the problem has been reconized. Lets hope it doesn't take 6+ months to fix, and i agree wil Eulbobo, see if you can take a look at that problem while your at it.

The town mission terms on tat arebroke showing missions atonly level 25. Non player cities r at level 15, so a group of us decided to head to talus where surprise surprise the main cities level 15 again but we did manage to use a player terminal and got level 75 missions eventhough we were mainly level 80's in the grp.

Is there any word on fixing all this?

Bloodfin tatooine mission terms are still bugged, I sent a csr ticket and received a response that this would be the normal status from now on. They said that tatooine, since it was a starter city, was going to continue to low lvl missions. This is unacceptable. I reside in Deadwood and the players in that city have spent along time making it what it is and don't want to move. It seems everytime you make a new publish go live you mess something up because you are experimenting. Please only experiment in the Test server, and before you go live with a new publish you should explain about a week before what is going to happen so you don't mess up as much.

If thats the case it is total crap. Only misson terminals in NPC cities should be low level.
