Interesting idea, but I think jedi hide in their houses a little too much as it is 
. Up till the next patch that is though 
. I guess if this was very costly in terms of FP it would be acceptable so long as their wouldnt be 50 bagillion bases with their own armies everywhere. ALthough it seems if you really want all this stuff, why not just buy your own base? you get your own lil spawns of troops with those lol

Hello.
I think it would be great to have a very large 8 slot home that holds 2000 items. This home could be restricted by requiring it be purchased for 150k Faction Points. I think it would be great if it was guarded inside and out by high level imp or reb guards.
Respawing ATSTs Level 100 50k FP
Evil Jedi Nights 100k FP
Respawing Dark Nova Troopers. Level 150 85k FP
Imperial Officers. Level 50 5k FP
Rebel Forces.
A great place for jedi to chill out with his own army to watch over him, "while he/she isas at home," protecting him/her from any invadting Npc or BH, or SF player. I think it would be so cool to walk outside my home and see the opposing faction fighting it out with my NPC guards.
Turrets are Cheap and can be replaced if destroyed.
Your own in house Cloner, medcenter, or Military Situation Room.
Several Stories above and below ground.
This would be a great place to be able to keep all of our great loot and decorate on a large scale and still have room for storging supplies.
An armor that you can just drag and drop weapons on so they stack faster. Click and or drak and drop into your inventory. This would be faster than the movefurniture process. I think it would be great to have gun racks to display weapons. I have hundreds of weapons and it would take quite a long time to place them all for display. Drag and drop shelves. It would be cool to have rows and rows of crates stack on shelves, via drag and drop for display. Now they are hidden inside a case that one other then admin access can see.
This would get people out in space and planetside seeking out faction any way they can. At present there is no real benefit to Rank or Faction. Require the purchaser to hold the rank of Colonel.
A faction home should not be able to be destroyed since it would be used for displaying our rare items, rewards, and supplies.
Please add your ideas and also let me know what you think.

interesting idea but the 2k item limit is way to high, for 8 lots remember that guild halls used to take 9 lots and only hold 250 hehe

The faction perk is unlikely to be an effective barrier to widely more items stored increasing dev fears of hoarding and increased database requirements.

i like this idea.. i was also thinking of something similar: ability to hire guards to protect ur house, this could be incorporated to the whole theif thing.. they would be able to break in people's houses to steal stuff.. but guards could kill them.. or ud buy special locks and stuff

be to game breaking if the "theif" idea was installed, you would lose all your items in a night from the update if you didnt log on instantly, the game should be realistic but not THAT realistic lol

Yea lol imagine logging in one morning to find your entire house with nothing in it after you had just spent the last week decorating

Someone on my server once waggishly offered to buy Theed palace on the trade forum. Maybe that's the perk: one per server to thetoon who gets XXXXXXX more faction points than the next highest toon has.

i would let to see something like an npc that is called something like Housing upgrade or something like that and when you talk to him you get an option to upgrade your house(has to be placed and have declared residence to it). You get a box and it tells you which house you want to upgrade (just incase you have like 2 or more houses) and you pick which one you want to upgrade. Then it will list something like this:
Upgrade Room - each time you upgrade this you get more and more room in your house to drop starting at the maybe 50 items then can go up to maybe a max of 500 or something.And each time you upgrade to the next level you have to pay more for example
Level 1 - 2k credits for 100 items drop
Level2 -10k credits for 150 items and etc
Upgrade Lighting- each time you upgrade this you get better lighting in the house from torchs on the wall to nice lamps on the wall. And when you upgrade to the electric lighting you get a button near the door of the house where the owner can turn off and on the lights of that room.
Upgrade floors- Each time you upgrade you get from stone flooring to carpets(cant pick up just covers all the floors
Upgrade walls- You get better looking walls and unlocks options to change color or the wall or add wallpaper to the wall
Upgrade landing pad-Costs alot of money but when you get it you get to land at your house and take off
Upgrade outside color- changes the color of the house
But then again just an idea lol but o well would be fun and with this it makes the game feel like the sims lol and but it would make the houses look different inside and out from all the others

About the whole theif thing id just use my yacht as a storage house.
