Imagine what it would be like to have a casino in your city.A place to go with a friend and play a game of dejaric or sabaac and the games that are in the npc city casinos.

There could be a fee to play the games that would go to the city hall, so theres a positive side to it. It should also bring people to player cities. It could also be part of a hotel or something, becausepeople seem to want to have apartment type of buildings in the game.

Just let your minds run free with this idea.

Wow nice idea...I second lol can you do that? Well if you can I second it...that would/could be a nice attraction to the cities...also possibly keep some folks out of hanging out in the main starports lol....good idea

Back in one of the Smuggler Revamp concepts, the Devs mentioned giving Smugglers the ability to place player city casinos. I hope they still hold true to that, it would be awsome.

I know its not star warsy but playing black jack and poker would be granted. Maybe change the names to fit the area and time.

Bear in mind Smugglers have been promised an update since a couple of months after launch.

I think it would be wiser to allow player city cantinas to be used as casinos (by allowing cantina managers to place gambling tables, lugjack machines and such), rather than adding a new building for the sole purpose of gambling.

The reason is that currently most buildings in player cities, and player cities themselves, are almost always desert. Adding more functions to a given building (for example the cantina) makes this building more attractive, and increase the probability of meeting people there. This way the cantina has more chance to become a social hub.

I remember seeing this in the Smuggler forums awhile back before the Devs seemed to drop the idea of a Revamp for Smugglers. It would be nice to have themwith the Jubilee wheel (I swear I play those more than anyone else on Ahazi sometimes), Sabacc (Star Wars Poker I suppose) and Dejarik (holochess)

I found a Sabacc online site awhile back, but can't find it now. It had all the rules and what the cards are...

Brings back the memories of the Hutt Casino the Devs mentioned way back when too... wonder whatever happened to that.
