Lighten up things a bit here with everyone on our back about pricing

What is it that you guys love most about chef!

For me, I would have to say the customer base, and recieving a tell back saying that they love the stats on the food Makes the long factory wait really worthwhile.

Not sure if it's my mushroom hat or my buggy factories. Probably the factories - they give me something to do.

When I join solo groups and throw out a quick ad for my vendor. Usually get a couple people to my shop then. In group chat I get a person or 2 that will rave about my product and my prices. Nice plug but makes me feel my effort is worth it.

I have been a dedicated crafter since just after launch. I like chef because of the variety of ways that you can experiment on foods. You can have 2 12point chefs with nearly the same resources and have 2 different output of foods. In the WS community 2 12 point WS will have nearly exact stats on weapons.

What do I like about chef you ask?

When I started playing the game, there were so many people I looked up to in PVP or crafting. You had the elites in both that ruled the server and everyone knew their names. It was a goal to try my best to make a name for myself and since I lacked the money for the uber exceptional weapons and the want to spend all my skill points on making a character that would only allow me to reap the benefits of only one aspect of the game (pvp), I decided to spread them out. Chef didn't take much money or skill points to get started, only dedication. The resources come with time either through harvesting or friendships made along the way.A chef can turn a profit as long as their products are good and you show a knack for keeping your vendors full or meeting a demand placed by the server. As with most chefs on Radiant.....once a certain amount of credits is obtained, the need for the person to use their chef falls to the wayside and this is why so many elite chefs are no longer playing or have changed the templates. And that's not wrong. They've lost that drive to provide a staple in the game. I, for one, still have that drive and chef allows me to fullfill it. That's not to say I won't follow the path so many chefs have taken and change my goals in the game, but I can't imagine doing anything else for the time being. I have gained more friendships since I made chef then any other profession (And I've done 29 of them...thank you hologrind) and constantly receive e-mails telling me that they like my foods and drinks. It's very rewarding in so many aspects and the credits are nice too

Just have to be dedicated.

ah yes, very true, I remember back when I started chef, people would come up to me and ask me what the heck a chef was haha. I guessI first started chef because it was the easiest profession to break myself in to, there weren't any other chefs because nobody knew about food! Fun times.

I do like the emails and /tells that I get complimenting me and my business. I even had one guy beg me on several different occasions to never go out of business lol

but my favorite thing is not having to go running around to find good food on a vendor that actually has a decent amount of the things that I want/need. My alt uses a lot of food and having to look for a good vendor would really agrivate me. So I just shop at home Always stocked, not for the customers, but for meeeeeeeee!
