Thanks for the stats to compare to. I was wondering about the fact that some people
say after you hit the 400 marker just put the rest into the duration. some I guess just
like the couple extra minutes compared to the extra on pe. I maybe wrong but
dosent your stomach completly empty after 30mins. if you eat say 3 ahrisa and
2 brandy. Also those stats are with like 1 amazing expermintation and only great assembly.
I havent had to much luck with the amazings. I have my bespin and the food to give the better
chance. I'am also in a research town with my droid. I guess it just takes time. I've been thinking
about doing the FS crafting but heard it was bugged. I guess we will see what happens!
Thanks Again

No, its 45 minutes to completely empty.
It was mentioned during the chef revamp that it will be 30 minutes. But it either was changed, or is a bug that slipped through.
But it has been that since then (9 months or so ago), so I doubt it will change.
I can actually live quite good with the 45 minutes.
Usually all my foods are 12 or 11 points Amazing Successes.
Here's a little "guide":
- Get a good crafting tool (14.85 or 15 or so)
- Get a good crafting station (40 or better). Droids count as 0, so a crafting station is better
- have some Bespin Port ready but don't drink yet
- be in a Research Center
- Lets say you want to spread your points this way (like I do with Brandy): 8 pts Nutrition, 3 pts Duration, 1 pt Filling
- Still don't drink Bespin Port
- Put 8 points into Nutrition at once (or 7 if thats the max you can do at once) and hit "Run Experiment"
- If its a "Great Success", throw it away and start again (or create a prototype or "backup-schematic")
- If its an "Amazing Success", then all 8 points get the Amazing bonus.
- NOW drink your Bespin Port.
- Put the 3 points into Duration.
- If its a Great Success throw it away and start again
- Last point into Filling. Here it usually doesn't matter for me if its amazing or not (since both give me 49% filling).
- Create schematic
Few explanations:
There are reports/rumors that if you do more than one point at once (like 3) then the "dice" is rolled 3 times seperately, and one of them can be a crit fail and another can be an amazing success, and it would just show "Amazing Success". This is WRONG!
Its only rolled once. If it says "Amazing Success" then you get the Amazing Success for all the points you've put in it. A Great Success adds 7% per point to your Experimentation, an Amazing adds 8%. Doesn't sound much, but if you use 7 points and get an Amazing Success its like you had 8 Great Sucesses. If its used with 3 then its around 3.5 Great successes.
Its not always much of a difference, it depends on the food, sometimes you have to experiment, if you need the Amazing Success on the second line. If 3 Great and 3 Amazings get you the same results, then there's no need to force an Amazing here.
Bivoli is an example here, after I hit +25 Wound Treatment, I use 3 points in Quantity to get it to 3 uses. 3 Great Successes get me that, and 2 Amazings don't. And 3 Amazings still give 3. So I don't care here if I get an amazing in this line.
I also usually create a "Backup schematic" of the first amazing success though, in case I just don't get all of them, in the Brandy-example it doesn't make a large difference anyway, its a jump from 44 to 45 minutes, but I try to get the best stuff I can, thats the reason why I do it. But if necessary I would make a run of 431/44 mins, instead of 45 mins
.

I just became a 12pt chef a couple of weeks ago and wanted to get your opinions on
my ahrisa, and brandy to see how I measured up. To also see where I could improve
it.
Ahrisa +411 for 46.3min/ 33 fill/ 3 uses
Brandy +423 for 46.3min/ 49fill/ 18 uses
I know some people like the duration longer, but some also like their food and drink
to have comparable times. I am getting ready to open up shop soon, but for now
just placing it on the bazzars.
thanks everyone

Thats pretty good stuff, really.
Perhaps you should try one point less in Duration and one more in Nutrition (that is, unless Nutrition is already maxed).
Should get you to around 44-45 minutes, which is enough for double buff brandy (2 49% brandy take exactly 44 minutes and 6 seconds to empty again, if everything goes right
), but with a slightly higher buff, you might be able to reach 430 on the brandy and 420 on the ahrisa, depending on where your resources cap and your BE additives.
I try to get my Ahrisa and Brandy the same length (probably 30 seconds difference if you can't hit it exactly), that way the customer doesn't have to worry about two timers. Once one is up, just eat/drink everything again.
My brandy is 431/45m/49% and my Ahrisa 424/44m/33% or 412/45.5/33% just so you have some figures to compare

Thanks for the input, I really appreciate it. Just one question though, I was told by another
crafter in my clan, and tried to do some research but some was outdated, that a droid was
by far better than a crafting station. I believe that no matter what type of food station was
installed in the droid it was far better than any crafting station. even a 44 or 45 is it. The other
question was on the bespin port, you can only drink it once correct for each expermint. example,
I exp. 7 points and get an amazing. then i drink the bespin, exp again with3 points and get another
amazing. I still have 2 points left, If i drink another bespin will it effect the last exp of to points or not.
Thanks for all the input. I am trying to really understand everything to its fullest. I want to supply the
quality foods people are looking for, and do it right the first time so I dont hurt my self.

It is true that it is 45 minutes to empty 100% filling.
The post above was mentioning 49% filling brandy though. It does NOT take 45 minutes to empty 98% filling. Like they said, it takes exactly 44 minutes 6 seconds.
So 44 minute 49% fill is almost the same double buff as 45 minute 50% filling.

Still a lot to learn i have
So you guys experiment first in one stat to get the amazing. If the amazing used 7 points for e.g. everytime i put there 7 points there i get the amazing right? So i can move on to the next stat to try some points and reach the amazing, after i reach on second stat then i may try the same exact numbers i used on both (both amazings) along with the port.
Correct me if i'm wrong
Cheers

I know that it was about 49% brandy. actually "they", which said that its 44 mins and 6 seconds was actually me
But it was asked for how long it takes to completely empty the stomach (in the third post somewhere in the middle of the sentence

Uhm not sure if I understand it as you meant it, but if I do its wrong.
Each experiment is unrelated to the ones before.
Ok, lets do an example
you start with 20% in flavor and nutrition, and you have 10 points.
now you put 7 points into nutrtion and get a great success. Nutrtion is now at 69% (7*7=49 and the 20 you already had)
now 3 points into flavor. You're lucky and its an amazing success. Flavor is now at 44% (3*8=24 and plus 20 again)
Now you do the next combine.
Again 7 points in nutriton and you get an amazing now. Woohoo. its 76% now. (7*8=56, plus 20 = 76)
3 points into flavor, but damn, only a great success this time. so you only get 41% (3*7=21)
Next combine
Now both are great successes and you end up with 69% nutrition and 41% flavor. you dumb that schematic since both your former ones are better.
Those numbers would be the same if you use Bespin port or not.
Bespin port does not make an Amazing better. It doesn't make an Great success better.
But an Amazing is better than a Great (since it adds 8% instead of 7% for every point invested).
What Bespin Port does, is to raise the chance to get an Amazing Success instead of a Great Success.
So what we do is, we hope for luck to get an Amazing on the first experiment. if that happened we drink Bespin to raise the chance that the second one is an Amazing too.
Since Bespin port usually has around 20% filling you can only drink around 5 or 6 of it before you are full (you can drink 6 if you take long enough
I'm not sure if that is clearer now, I hope so, if not, feel free to ask again
