What's the best way to sell your product without the use of a vendor?

Before the solo group nerf, standing in the mining outpost on Dantooine and shouting that you had product (vas brandy, ahrisa, and canape primarily) could generate some business in immediate sales. This may not be as profitable as it used to be, but worked great for me when I was starting.

Putting those same products on the local bazaars of popular locations on adventuring worlds (Dant, Dath, Yavin, Endor). Again, this was something that worked well for me when I was starting chef.

Problem with using the bazaar is the limited number of items you can sell. For larger exposure of your products, you need to seek out a merchant willing to buy your products and resell them for you. You'll make less profit, but have more skill points to spend elsewhere if you can manage to pull this off. Be aware that a merchant will not want to go into this unless your products are above average or else they risk getting stuck with stock that won't really move. Figure you have to be at least 400+ and 43+ minutes for both brandy (<50 fill) and ahrisa (33 fill) to be even considered (unless your prices are very low and even then the products may not sell so the merchant may still pass on the deal).

One other idea is to establish a deal with one or more guilds to be a provider of food/drink. You'll still have to prove your products are above average and offer them a financial incentive to buy from you, but you could then offer your products to one of their guild members' vendors versus having to setup your own vendor.

Even with the above ideas, it's probably worth the skill points to get at least one vendor by going up to Artisan - Business 3 (24 total skill point investment). [Edit: it's actually only an additional 9 point investment since you already will have novice artisan]

Good luck!

Best way in my opinion is to just mass produce crates of food and sell to a merchant in bulk.

I'll try spamming in the MO first, if that doesn't work I'll try to find a vendor to group up with. Thanks for the response.
