You'd be lucky to find a BE that makes the other tissues. They require specific resources and the cost of production greatly outweighs the profit margin gained.

Yes, you will find uses for a couple of different types of additives for specific products.

1) Parwan Nutricake -- you'll want to use a flavor enhancer to get the recovery decrease level to 90. This could be either a light or medium additive depending on your resources (better resources could use a light additive). A nutrition additive would be waste in this and not provide the effect customers want.

2) Flameout -- you'll want to use a filling additive because it's fairly easy to hit 100% even without a nutrition additive and anything above that is wasted. With a filling additive, you may be able to get the fill down to as low as 33. A nutrition additive would be a waste in here because 169% dmg reduction doesn't help anymore than 100% dmg reduction.

3) Others -- I've heard of people making lower filling versions of various defensive items where it's better to have a little defense against a lot of things than having higher defense against fewer attacks. One example is Thakitillo, but the same idea could be extended to other of the "Defense vs" foods. These would be lower quantity production runs because the market would be much smaller.

In general, the above 2 specific foods are the only ones needing other types of additives for full runs.As others have pointed out, these are generally much more expensive than the nutrition additves due to the resources needed (milk &domesticated meat being the big ones). If you can find a BE that's willing to make schematics for you using your own materials, then collect your own stuff and just have them make the schematic. I haven't found many BEs on Kettemoor that make these other types except one -- Nusti.

I've used the flavor tissue for flameout to increase the number of attacks the reduction affects, but very expensive because they take 40 milk each.
