Thread: How do you pronounce some of these Chef Items?

Well, since most of these names are made up and the spellings are rather creative, how do you pronounce these items? Should there be a standard pronunciation? Here is how I pronounce them:

As you can see English has influenced by pronunciations greatly, I imagine that German speakers have different pronunciations for the foods and drinks.

This gets a vote for my favorite post of the week. I was JUST thinking about this the other night when I ran through Coronet and saw a chef spamming that they carry +25/3 use "bivili". I thought, "Ok, that's a typo, but I wonder if it just came from phonetic typing."
I've always pronounced "bivoli" as bi-vuh-lee, with the emphasis on the first "i" in the word. Like the Italian "tivoli" (http://www.m-w.com/cgi-bin/dictionary?book=Dictionary&va=tivoli)...you can hit the little speaker button and hear the pronounciation.
Thakitillo is another one. I pronounce it tAK-uh-til-oh, kind of like "tack"ing a tail onto an armadillo. Somehow, I've gotten it into my head that the "h" is silent, sort of like in "chimera" (another totally made up word, yes? lol) - although that's a totally different sound altogether.
Aside from that, I haven't run into too many discrepencies between the way I pronouce things out loud (yes, I'll cop to the fact that I have a frightening ability to talk about SWG as if it's a normal, adult topic of conversation) and the way others do (Ok, just my boyfriend - I can't go spouting off about this stuff to anyone else! Tres embarrassing!).
But boy, oh boy. Do I ever have trouble with the computer generated names people run around with! Oofqoourryyiuon Eefeide. What??? Who?! I have a ton of trouble typing out these non-sensical names as it is, so I can fuggettahbout trying to speak them out loud! hehehe.
