Supposedly it also affects how much the buff fills your food bar... higher flavor experimentation means less filling. Or so I hear.

Does flavor have any gameplay value? I haven't yet been able to recognize what the difference would be when crafting experimentation, other than for my own personal satisfaction, and a higher complexity level. I suppose if the experimentation value of the food is based on flavor, it makes sense... but once it's in the experimentation mode, I'm not sure what flavor does.
Also, what determines the quantity of food produced? It seems as if you can tweak the quantity of food you make depending on how successful you are at crafting (definitely shows up when crafting fireworks.) Any clues anyone?
I'd like to see emotes of characters who eat good food vs. bad food. Or ANY food for that matter. My character is still just an artisan, but I like crafting food, since "grinding" on food items has real application, unlike grinding weapon mods that get destroyed.
