Thread: Did the Bartender Thing Last Night
Jawa Bear - 150cr
StarShiner - 100cr
Caf - 75cr
Spiced Tea - 50cr
Sold things cheap cause well I was manually selling everything... At times I got an order that they wanna buy like 6 or so... I ran out of Jawa Beer, Spiced Tea, and Caf. I didn't run out of Starshine cause I had a stock pile of that stuff like 50 or so on me...
Now if I have 2 backpacks on me or more... can I put stuff in the ones I am not wearing and be able to access those items safely??
What I might do tonight is sit and create alot of beer and stuff and put all of one kind in 1 bag and 1 of another in another bag and so forth.... How do you all normally do the bartender thing? You get money via tip or in the trade window (which I hate)... Had a few do it through Tip cause they didn't have the money on them. The bar I am working at is on the Radiant Server at the Cantina near the Space Port in Theed on Naboo... We have TONS of Entertainers in there... Figured once I get Novice Chef I will make bread out the ying yang and sell it... way too many entertainers to just give it away
Ohh and wanna hear something funny..... I admited to SOE that I had developed a program which can pretty much play the game like do dancing and survey and stuff without being AFK... and they just ignored me... Funny isn't it
I personally enjoy the bartending thing quite a bit, but.. a word of advise.. read the threads about the "Novice Chef Grind". You won't find yourself selling too much of that bread to the locals. You could try to give it away as "complimentary", but it's rough at the Novice Chef level.
Once you get to mixology though theres some more fun stuff to work with...
As long as you find a good, reasonably busycantina to work in you can both have fun and make some money while your at it.
Mix 1 is pretty dismal, dom4 still better, have to get to mix 2, for getting selling items again. Anyway that was my experience, maybe others can sell mix 1.
The bartending is probably the most enjoyable thing i did as a chef.
Deserts give great bonsues with no ill effects, and from what i hear from rebelsoldr, the EXP is fantastic.
Everyone seems to neglect the cooking tree... as boring as it may be not getting new recipes, with cooking 2 and a 800 OQ reactive gas I make tat sunburns up to 6 uses, and I get great successes on nearly all my creations(not experiments, but they're a lot better then they were). Even my meatlumps now come with about 120-150 constitution without BE components IIRC. It's really an investment worth looking into.
Cooking 1 sucks(10 experimentation, 10 assembly) but 2, 3, and 4 each give an additional 20 points to each stat, and you really feel the difference
