Maybe not many can answer this hehe,

But im wondering what exactly do chefs buff, how effective are the buffs, can u be 'healed' in combat by eating?, can they repair wounds or make them regen faster?

To my believe there is no food that can heal you like a medic. (this was probably planned as it would really negate the medic proffesion). But we can make food that gives you crazy regeneration. Stamina is what controls the regeneration of green bar. The tatooine sunburn can boost it by 3500 (normally stat around under 500), for crazy! regen even in battle.

Foods can either buff your primarly ham bars, but you have to wait till the extra ham regenerates, forinstance a novice chef can make charde that boost mind for about 270. Veroian berry wine, can boost all three stats by 270, when made will. But at higher lvls we can do alot more buff to ham bars.

Right now at mix 3, best drink i can make is from mix 2 tatooine sunburn 1500 to strengh and 1500 to stamina, for 6mins and three of those can be drank. There are many offer drinks, with lower stats that are highly effective.

It is inportant to match your playing style with the buffs you need. Ask your local chef, about what food and drink suits your proffesion and play style.

Could you please in the future differentiate between what an item does and what an item does when you gobble up an entire stack? Saying that a "novice chef can make charde that boost mind for about 270" iseither worded poorly or a borderline lie.

I just don't want anyone to stumble on to the chef boards for whatever reason and think that they can get a charde that boosts mind by 270 when it can't.

Hoggle maybe i should have rephrased my statement. Reason i give total buff many times, is that alot of people don't know you can drink 3 at a time, and only think charde can give 90 boost to mind which is not very stunning.

If any one got confused, a charde can be made by a novice chef, that can give 90 plus boost to mind each drink. Three drinks can be drank at once, for a total buff of 270.

Now for it being a boderline lie,........ no i think your very wrong. A chef can make a stack of charde, that will give the owner a boost of 270 to mind, there is nothing untruthful about that statement. Yes it can be misinterrupted, and i agree in future i will make sure to seperate total buff, and buff per drink. Thankyou for pointing this out.

guess i should also carify, the buff of charde vary if ingredients and experimentation. based on 2 experimentation points given to novice chef. The buffs can vary (heard as low as 40), to about 96 (best i made at that lvl). But could only get above 90 consistentlyingredients. So according to ingredients avialable and used the buffs of food and drink items can vary alot.

So your local chef might be making 75 or 95 buff per drink, not necessarily 90.

Agnius...i assume you use Aludian pu36 for your veronian wine?

I have crap components, and get around +78 to all HAM bars on the veronian wine.

As hoggle pointed out, my using total buffs was very confusing. When i said 270 for veronian berry wine, I should have said 90 per drink. Butthe thing sucks because i'm not getting the time of buff above 140 secs (i think it has been awhile since i logged toon). I was using ky fruit distill when i made those. On ahazi i was using the water with two stats above 900 available on naboo, ( forgot name it wasn't efo), Some unbelievable berries, someone got from endor for me. One that note a another resource dealer found me 999 flavour corn with OQ and PE above 700, from endor aswell. I really need to check that place out.

Sorry for the above confusing post, i'll pay more attention to clarifying buff per drink verse buff for three drinks.

WOOT! GOT to be an Eddy Izzard fan there! lol. And thanks for all the info guys, appreciate it. As a new novice chef, ill be griding out a couple ranks in mix when my harvs get going better. Right now i have 4 on an 83% nabooina domesticated rice, with an overall quality of 900+ and energy and tasts both over 600. And 2 on an 88% concentration of Nabooian berry fruit(yisy) but cant remember the stats. So I should be able to grind out a rank or 2.
