Thread: Looking for tips to make a decent Sunburn
My PA has been all over me to get to the level to make Tatooine Sunburns and I finally reached it tonight: 0-0-2-0. I have mostly grinding resources at moment, and my first Sunburn reflected that. +1500 to Strength and Stamina, for 360s. Not bad I thought, until I realized that it only had 1 serving.
Of the components needed to make it, Cereal, Reactive Gas, and Mineral. None had any PE. Is that my problem? The flavor of the gas was OK, the Mineral was in 900's of OQ, but gas sucked.
So basically I'm looking for a little info on what would help this particular problem, as well as get me the best Sunburn possible. I know Experimentation will help, that's next on my grind list.
And do any of the components needed have the ability to carry a PE stat?
Sorry for my idiot questions, I mainly burn people, not food.
And this is not a HOLO Chef btw, but sharing a friend's Alt to provide food and music for our Cantina. But I'm enjoying it, a little to my amazement. ![]()

Your Starshines have no great impact on your Sunburns. Stack size is determined by the OQ of the Reactive Gas you use in the final combine of the Sunburn.
Also, if/when you rise in the Cooking line, you can experiment on the stack size to get it up towards the 10 mark and above.
Hope this helps.
You'll basically want a reactive gas with as high an OQ as is available on your server. I played around with quite a few variables, and as long as I stuck with the same gas, any changes done on the Starshines (resource quality or experimentation) had no effect on the final combine. A given success type always had the same stats, and the nutrition and flavor maxed out at the same buff value / duration.
With what little experimentation points you have at this point, I wouldn't worry too much about increasing the nutrition. +1500 strength/stamina is pretty useful all by itself. A few points in duration never hurts, since the base six minutes can cut things close in a pitched battle, but you'll probably get the most bang for your buck upping the quantity.
Sadly, I'm on my last drops of 900+ OQ gas, and nothing comparable has spawned in the last month. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for the next resource shift.
And cereal should have a PE,although like I said, since this is in the Starshine, it won't make a difference in your sunburns. How schematics are supposed to work when a required stat isn't in the resources is a long-standing artisan mystery. For example, a crafting tool's effectiveness is based 100% on conductivity, but it requires a chemical, which doesn't have it. But I've heard of crafting tools made with 1000 conductivity copper that maxed effectiveness at 100%, so the chem didn't seem to be taken into account. But foods require UT as the filling part of the "Flavor and Texture" category, and for recipes that don't use minerals or wood, that category is always horrible.
Thank you all!
Just an update. Got a hold of some Reactive with an OQ of 900. Still no PE anywhere, but current stats are:
+1500 to Str & Stam
Lasts about 6 minutes
3 Charges
Now to grind to get Experimentation tree up there. Thanks for help! ![]()

You missed the skibeenie (or whatever it was)? OQ860. Not superb, but very servicable.
I nabbed 60K in the couple days it lasted.
What I need is decent domestic rice!!!
