Thread: crafting stations pluses
I doubt anyone's gathered enough info for a full statistical analysis, but it seems to me that when I upgraded to a 43 crafting station from a 14 (already had 14.5 tools), my crit fails on assembly went down, and more of my experimental successes were of abetter class (more goods instead of moderate, more greats, and more amazings). That's all subjective, though, no real hard numbers.
I have had the same problem too. I was trying to craft and ended up critical failing 5 times in 15 minutes. So I whiped out my trusty R2 units and walked outside and great successes all the way through ![]()
I have since upgraded my crafting station but just this morning I was trying to make some Ice Blaster and had to remake the schematic 4 times cause of critical failures. It just comes and goes, I know that by tomorrow night I will be crafting fine.
Hey Nikii have you checked your house for Holochefs? Maybe they are trying to sabotage you ![]()

From what i have seen and read. The effectivness of our droid crafting modules effects how often you get a critical failure. Right nowI can make 85% food crafting modules. This is 25% better then the one i could get before some stealth artisan adjustments. So i would think your safer using a droid then using a private crafting station. Though i keep thinking you will get better results from a 33-40 effectivness private crafting station.
I use my droid to make food and droids. If i didnt id feel like i was cheating myself as a DE
All I know is that with a 99% tool and a 99% station, I've got no problems. I get an assembly failure every 30 or so combines, and I get an experimentation failure every 20 or so times.
Has anyone actually collected +25 to food assembly on tapes, and have they measured any difference? Btw, testing with my old -15 tool, the failures came pretty common, so I don't think there is much question about whether it works or not.
