my character is a master weaponsmith and a carbineer. I determined that my final template will also involve 2 to 3 branches of chef maxed. I can't afford to master chef, though.

the reason for this is to keep myself, as a master carbineer (which I aim to get) highly buffed at all times by supplying my own food. this isn't about profit, I have enough from my weaponsmithing. I just want to buff my stat pools to heck.

can someone describe generally what the three branches do (I know one of them is the experimentation line) stat wise? are they all kinda random, or does each line have its own theme (perhaps one is mind based, one is action based, and one is health based?)? if so, which is which?

thanks

It appears that drinks affect mostly the mental attributes, primarily focus and mind pools. Foods affect primarily health and its substats. There is defintely a lot of crossover; you'll probably be able to find what you need in any line(I'm not sure about deserts...).

Mixology line and the cooking line. You NEED cooking to make your drinks decent, and you need mixology to get tatooine sunburn.

I can guarrantee you that you'll spend so much money getting to a reasonable level that you'd be better off just buying the food and drink though

what exactly does sunburn do?

and I have almost 6 million credits and can make more easily. that's not a problem. I just want to be self sufficient and always buffed.

Sunburn is a good way to go, it is a strength/stamina buff, with a small focus negative. It's a good all around drink (some say the best), so many people go for drinks II first.
