Thread: What good are biological enhancements?
try here for some info:

The only decent BE tissues I've seen for food that are readily available are the nutrient supplements, they add a percent increase to the duration. There's a low level one (I think obtained at novice BE) and an advanced. The low level caps out at about 15%, the advanced 30ish.
Most of the food tissues need hard-to-get ingredients like milk. Also, they affect two stats (or maybe stat groups); one positively and one negative. Good experimentation can reduce the negatives (same as food), but most BEs make their tissues for tailor clothing bonuses.
There's a list of the tissues available for chefs and the resources required here:

If you're going to use these in crates of food, you'll need identical crates of the tissues. Since I think tissues are done in food/chem factories, you'd probably be able to get a BE to make a schematic for you if you provide the resources.
Hey Phazon, can you elaborate more please sir. I haven't had a BE engineer any of the biological items yet. What are they called specifically? And are you supplying the resources to the BE? Sorry to be a newb on this, but I'm clueless in this area atm.
