Thread: Vegnerian Canap: Why isn't this getting attention as a good food?

I don't see people post about Vegnerian Canap, just the Brandy. I do have to say, pairing this together is going to work wonders for combat classes. Right now on my TKA, I eat two GGP and drink two Ice Blasters before a fight and am good to go on my mind. Being able to pair a good mind drink with good mind food is the ultimate way to go. Present BOTH together post patch.

I agree but this will be something that will need to be taken at the right time. From what I understand, it has a short duration so you will remain "full" even after it wears off. If you just time it right though, you'll get the affect you want, when you want. The new food/drinks make people play smarter, and Im all for that. Complexity can be your friend sometimes

I've already gotten a few orders on Vegnerian Canap, although some people want me to name it **edit** Catnip

Most of the decent foods haven't recieved much notice. Mainly because it is only a few chefs actually making the stuff right now. The only reason Brandy has gotten so much attention is because Fishak is being removed. I would guess noone would be talking about it if all the previous mind foods were staying.

Based on what I see, you'll be too full to take anything else so why bother boosting focus/willpower when Mind is more important to us fishak addicts

You can take 2 vasarians and if you want 2 vagnarian if youd like for a huge boost to secondaries.

I'm confused, drink one fishak, get POSSIBLY a +600 buff for 12 minutes and wait 10 more minutes after the buff is gone before you can drink again? I would rather drink the 2 Vasarians for +444 to all 3 stats, have them last 36 minutes, and be able to actually chug 2 more for a +888 to all 3 stats for 8 minutes before going back to +444 to all 3 stats. Just doesn't make sense why everyone hoarded Fishak. Glad I warned my customers no refund if they were stockpiling. Of course, those that have mind enhancing food will be glad they did, but I dont think the fishak compares to the Vasarian at all.

Even if it was +600 mind for 30 minutes and +400ish all 3 stats for 30 minutes I would always go for the 3 stats. I just don't understand why most people wouldn't. Maybe in PvP where you probably don't have enough time to regen and special costs really don't matter much. I just didn't think it was only PvPers that used it.
IMO(yes just my opinion) the new Brandy is far superior than the old Fishak even if you were to make it so you could take 1 after the other with no downtime. However before you could combine that with a nice mind food. That has been removed which to me is a big problem.

My only problem with it is duration 12 minutes for 300 focus will power and 40 filling, so if duration was a little better I'd like it more. As it is to use continously you have to BE enhance it or leave the buff down at 200.
