I thought there should be at least one positive post in here
My customers have been impressed with the foods I've been able to make, even without additives. When they hear Vasarian Brandy lasts 37 1/2 minutes their jaws just drop.
The Creature harvesting food Veghash also seemed to be popular with my hunting friends.
I've noticed that the factories are indeed producing faster.
I had liked experimenting on components in the past, but I have to say it is so much easier and faster to make component schematics now without having to mess with it.
My BE friends have been playing around with their new schematics today also, so I've gotten several samples to try in my foods. Breath of Heaven went from 3 servings in a large glass to 14 servings with an additive!
The pre-patch foods like Fishak and Pate are still selling well on my other vendor.
I have gotten compliments on my chef hat and apron
and I like the new food art.
I'm very glad I finally can see the number of servings on each food as I'm making it, rather than having to guess.
Customers love the new buff timer and it helps reinforce visually that our buffs are actually doing something.
Yes the revampis not all wine and roses I'm sure, but it's not vinegar and thorns either IMHO.
The only concerns I have are getting enough meat, milk and the other ingredients BEs need, but what I'm hoping is that this will spawn a new business opportunity -- something like "Dave's Dairy and Butchery!"
Anyhoo, I've been logged on for almost 13 hours crafting so it's time to go to sleep. It will be a long day of crafting tomorrow
If there's things in this patch you like, then post here
THere's plenty of other threads to **edit** in if you feel the need, but I think we got plenty of good things too.

Lol. Well maybe we can convince the Dev's to bring back the idea of farmer and rancher. Honestly, I wanted to be one.
I like the idea of this new patch. True, I only just trained in novice chef personally, but that was because my artisan account is still new around the edges. I'm looking forward to playing with these things, and making good foods for general consumption.

I agree. I like the changes thus far. Except for a couple minor things that could be twinked slightly. But overall I like it.

I don't really like it, but something positive
75 percent suit of armor + synthsteak = invulnerable for next 120 hits

As a 1122 BE, a 0100 CH, and 0111 HSM, I have to say that I love the chef revamp. A great many of the new foods are very useful to me...so much so that I'm taking up chef myself.
A doctor/chef/musician would be able to grant some serious buffs....

I like the changes too. My BE's are kinda slow, but I'm happy to hear that the new stuff is still good withough the additives.
I've got an artisan friend working on some schematics to help out with barrels. Everything is lovely in chef land for me.

I tried a multisaccharide dimate light additive supplement on vasarian brandy and it added 8 minutes to the duration -- I think that's pretty great!
Folks were paying the extra cost for BE enhancements just to get 2-4 extra minutes pre-patch, I think they're going to be pretty excited about 8 minutes. And of course a medium additive will add even more.
Acustomer field tested brandy for me last night and said he could take two at a time, and then a 3rd 20 minutes later. He is totally addicted to these things now. They are going to be a great seller.

The damage reduction from foods takes place before armor. You'd still take damage in the above situation, just not as much.
