I would like to see the addition of "Farms"to the list of available harvestors, etc.

A small farm would hold 1-2 animals of the same type and would produce milk or wool or similar resources not gathered from the "slaughter" of an animal, depending on the animal installed.

A medium farm would hold 3-4 animals and would produce at a faster rate.

A large farm would hold 5-6 animals and would produce resources at the fastest rate.

These farms would be craftable by Architects, and the resources used in crafting them would be the basis for the BER of the farm.

The would use energy and require maintenance just like any other building, and would take up the same number of lots as buildings of similar type.

Animals could be tamed by a CH and then domesticated using the new "domesticate" skill. Of course only certain animals would be able to be domesticated, based on temerity, ferocity, agressiveness, etc. In addition, a BE could genetically engineer animals for domestication uses. Increases over CH taming abilities in stats such as resource quality output, quantity of output, etc. could be directly manipulated by the BE to increase the production from the animals.

This would give players the ability to gather certain resources like milk (hint, hint) quicker than having to go out into the field to do so. After all, which is the more realistic scenario for getting milk (other than going to Albertson's and buying it...)?

Feel free to post comments, suggestions, flames, etc. (As if I could stop you from doing so anyway...)

Im sure Ive seen SV mention that the DEVs had an idea to implement this (or maybe it was even in beta at one stage) but was canned.. Would be great to have farms and 20 lots each! Ive done a lot swap to have factories running on someone elses lot but it can be a pain trying to get more and co-ordinate people to be on your server (as some just dont have time) when you need to move/place factories and the like..

All gone. Nothing to see now. Bye Bye Ahazi most of you guys were cool
