since containers dont need experimentation..u can MACRO CRAFT them without practice...then move to input hopper in factories...SWEEET i have no BE food yet..guild mate is working on it..but i got VAS BRANDY +200 mind focus will, 10use, 48filling, 47mins. cant wait for BE Food

Ummm, don't factories check the serial numbers of the containers? Hand-crafted ones will all have different ones.
Of course, maybe these got the same "similar" status as that one architect component (wall modules, maybe?), so the serials don't have to match. Now that I think about it, I don't know if my Vasarian schematic had a serial next to the container....

/sigh
I'm so weak. Guess I'm gonna hit the coffee hard tomorrow.
From a brief look, it seems that the container requirement on drinks does not include the serial number. This would suggest that any container of that type would work. So if you had 5 spare casks left over from a previous run, you can use them as ingredients for your next one, and not worry about having mis-matched serial numbers.
I'm not sure about alcohol or other components. I had a schematic in my datapad for Accaragm, made with some leftover aludian (pre-patch, obviously), and that had the serial number. If we don't have to worry about using components from a single factory run, I'm going to be so happy. I'd get crates of 2-5 aludians, carbosyrups, whatever strewn around my house. I'd occasionally do some cleaning, making up single stacks, but if I can nowthrow whatever leftove short crates of dough, alcohol, glasses I have lying around into a factory and get final products: bliss!

anything that says IDENTICAL means from a crate...ive already made 100 brandy...using my macro making containers..i make 16large glass a min..WAY faster than the 1 container per min the factories do...i calculated 10brandy per 13mins in factory..i except to run 1000brandy in 6factories in 3hours.

Sure, for slots using more than one component (2 alcohol, 4 carbosyrup, whatever). But I was always under the impression that to do a factory run of items using components, the schematic of the final item kept track of the serial number of the component, so you couldn't do up 500 Angerian fishak with 600 Aludians from one factory run and 400 from another.
One drawback I see for this is that the input hopper can only hold 100 items, right? So non-crated containers will have to be loaded up in shifts.
Neat. And if other components are "generic" enough to be used in schematics, I can just use up alchohol, carbosyrup, and dough willy-nilly, without worrying whether I'm going to be left with some useless broken crates.

Well hell... utilizing this theory... has anyone tried making an unlocked container of Vasarian Brandy?
