Oy my god!!!! I honestly cannot believe what I'm reading in here. It is absolutely disgusting!!! All you moaners and whiners... p*ss off and play something else! The game will be better off without you.

The new chef revamp rocks. I don't even think I'll be able to sell my last massive batch of Angerian Fishaks that I got onto my vendor before the patch went in... simply because the new Vasarian Brandy's are far better... far, far better.

Without the BE additives, I've got a factory run on now at +216 mind, focus & willpower for 37 minutes, filling 49% so you can drink two at once. Sure it's only +432 for 37 minutes, but it's to all mind stats, not just primary mind pool. Fishak doesn't come close to that. And with the BE additives which I'm having made at the moment I can get +359 (at least) for 35 minutes (and you can drink two).

People... listen up... life is full of change... everything in life changes... get a grip and get used to it. If you don't want change, stick to chess!! That hasn't changed for a while I believe.

Happy cooking guys! Nefer.

Yeah, all the changes rocks. A bunch of chefs will probably quit b/c they can't adapt to change, but plenty of new ones will take their place... it's too early to say definitively but i'm having a blast with all the new food possibilities.

Guys I agree with you... While I was only able to get my Vasarian upto 180 and I think that was for 43 minutes (without BE additive) I still have already generated customers craving for this. Of course I made up a sample batch and was walking around Anchorhead giving them out to the professions that need mind the most.

But just like any update there will be growing pains, and look forward to wearing my Chef Tag, Apron and Hat with pride.

If any of you level headed chefs are on Intrepid, please give me an email (in game name Gabrielle). You guys/gals are the Chefs I *want* to work with, not the moaners (I must have had 5 or 6 chefs last night bitching at me about their profession and how its the end of the world for them).

Look forward to working with you.

As a rifleman and chef, I was scared of the revamp. I was scared that I would never get the same buff and thus my rifleman would suck. But after making some BE Brandy and BE Canape, I'm jumping for joy. This patch rocks.

I have pumped out a factory run of Synthsteaks first as everyone and his dog seems to go for Vasarian Brandy (and as I need to get hold of medium additives first...hehe). Quite handy stuff

I haven't been Chef long before the revamp but now there is variety and the possibility to specialize in different foods rather thanchurning out Fishaks and BoH like 90% of the other Chefs

I knew having faith in SOE this time around would be worth it. I'm VERY pleased w/ this patch. There is soooooo much stuff people want. I'll have to get my Chef Mafia to pump out different items to keep up w/ demand. Flameout is in very high demand.

lol im enjoying it aside from being overwhelmed on having to remake everything to see what the changes are so i appreciate that u actually pointed out what was good to make/sell thanks ill have to see what kind of Vasarian Brandy'si can whip out.... umm but yeah the changes rock and im pretty damn siked about the components and factory times I.E no more 192 seconds for a aludium !!! yay lol atleast i think?? lol i noticed i dident see aludium pu32 or whatever at all on my schematics so i think we get to use the regular alchohal which is pretty sweet considering it takes almost as much time as the carbosyrup but with that being said i can say that im pretty happy about these changes and cant wait to start manufacturing these great new foods without waiting days for a factory run of 1k aludiums to be done lol

First off, I would like to say, I apprecaite the Devs in examing the old profession spending time to revamp it and hopefully work with SirVimes and Pkstang they are very knowledgable and can bring a lot of good to us.

This new system is fantastic as far as i am concerned but obviously there is mixed reaction and obviously some thing need adressed.

The outfits were fantastic, especially the hair net.

The quality of the meat should not factor in with bio supplements. Meat is hard enough to come by let alone high grade meat.

Bio -Eng had no idea what research was.

Reduce the quantity of the resources needed for schematics

The stomach needs to be 30 mintues not 45

The buff size wasand duration of the foods was not in proportion with other professions and quality of resources I used for my products

The out sourcing for our containers need to be stopped and fix the barrels

I like the revamp it adds a variety of ways for Chefs to prepare various foods.

Milking seems to be on tract

I think this was a good publish, at least a step in the right direction but several things still need to be adressed in order for our profession to survive and keep the Master Chefs in a positive light

I want to provide good items, at a fairly descent cost but right now it is substandard items at an outrageous cost.

You might not get this anywhere else, but thanks for the publish and working ona revamp. I think the Chef profession is much better than it was before (if the bugs/some of the complaints were fixed)

I do not want to be like a smuggler and just pop out muon with no quality or xp. But I feel we need to get a few tweaks in to assist us in making this a descent profession for mastering.

Thanks

WINNERS? Dude I've been a master chef for over 6 months worked on it since the game came out I'm not mad about the changes to the buffs I'm mad about having 1/4 of my menu taken away, most of the buffs are awesome yes, but why not leave the rest of the foods in game... ? I hate all of the posers who are in it for the money, most of the chefs in game were in it to roleplay and we were never in it to make millions like most of the posers out there, I hate all of you who put up with soe for making you pay for playing beta an incomplete "revamp" is not a good one barrels are broken, you depend on extremely high quality resourses for best possible items, you are now dependent on other professions and not only that but it costs a fortune to make a dum crate, and that the person who said we are having a hard time addapting i tell you DARN RIGHT I AM I WANT MY CORELIAN FRIED ICE CREAM BACK, SULLUSTIAN GIN, DOUBLE OUTER RIM RUM DROP, TATOOINE SUNBURNS, KILLESIAN FRUIT DESTILLED, AND WHAT IN THE WORLD HAPPENED TO COMPONENT EXPERIMENTATION WHICH IF YOU DIDN'T KNOW MADE YOUR ITEMS BETTER QUALITY? YES THERE ARE MANY ISSUES TO ADDRESS ISSUES BETTER ADDRESSED ON TEST SERVER IF SOE LISTENED BUT NO YOU GUYS HAVE TO PUT UP WITH MEDIOCRECY!

I'm done i hate my profession now, it is incomplete and has been turned into another get rich scheme.

I don't see any periods in that post at all. Also, there was a vote. Do you want to wait a long time for new stuff, or have MORE USEABLE stuff you had before, and get more foods in upcoming patches. A majority said More USABLE food now, get more in patches. If you didn't vote or express your opinion, you have no right to argue.

I agree, haven't been as excited since the beginning of the game. I offered my friend a rifleman to test out some mind buff food. I made Vasarian Brandy with 222 MFW 30+ minutesand Vagnerian Canap with 236 Focus Willpower and filling 33 about 10 minutes. And I didn't use the best resources. He was extremely happy with the results. Even when I told him that Vagnerian Canap lasts only 10 minutes so if he takes all three he'll have to wait 20 minutes to have 600+ boost to focus and willpower he said that would be "enough to accomplish his goals".
