Thread: Will you be labeling your foods as BE Enhanced when selling enhanced food? Some thoughts.

I was thinking about this. Usually people don't read the patch notes or skim over stuff they think unimportant. These are the same people who are going to send you a tell saying that so and so is making V. Brandy with +400 or +600 to each stat and yours are only +200 to each stat and etc etc. I think it is important that we educate our buyers by labeling food as BE Enhanced so that they know when they come around next time and see that the same food they bought before has a lower buff, that they don't think we are making sucky food/drink.
If you don't follow what I am saying, I understand. I can type pretty confusing but I am sure that others have a word to say about this. I just thought that it would be good idea for chefs to label BE foods as such.

I'm not only going to label them I'm going to put them on their own separate vendor.

It will be labeled as BE. I think splitting vendors between drinks and foods is a good way to go for me.

I'll be calling my non-BE "Free Range" and the BE "Genetically Enhanced" or "Super Sized".

I'm just now starting my first factory run of Vasarian Brandy + pretty crappy light additives + cask. The cask gave the item 21 uses without any experimentation - should be enough.
The customers aren't interested in the BE enhancing, they are interested in the stats. I'll put the stats in the item names, but no BE/non-BE label.

I am labeling mine so they understand the difference in the pricing structure.

I'd say what a great idea. Now that you mention it I will be labeling my foods with some info reguardling any BE additives. There are what, four different kinds of additives not counting light, medium and heavy. So labeling should not be that much of a task.

If I ever get any additives, I will label them.
Customers need to start looking at their food the way they look at a gun when they buy it, and understand why some versions cost more than others.
Currently, anything using a Cask will instantly be doubled in price at least (2* the cost for 3 * the quantity aint a bad deal), and anything using Additives will have the costs of those added on, plus a small amount to cover the hassle of getting the damned things.

I've done what Sykes suggested. I actually have 3 vendors. One is a "menu - not for sale items" that has one of everything we can make with typical stats (no BE additives) so that everyone can at least understand what the food/drinks do now. Then I have a vendor on each side of the "Menu Vendor" that are named "Fabulous Foods" and "Delightful Drinks". Any thing I make I put BE enhancedin the title of the food so customers can understand the markup. I only registered the menu vendor so people don't get confused on the world map. Works very well for me.

It'll probably be a bit before I start using BE additives (and I doubt I'll be doing enough to give them their own vendor for even longer), but I was planning on putting a note in the name along the lines of "(med Qty enh)" or "(hvy Nut enh)". Something short but informative to keep them from coming back to my vendor later and wondering why all my food is worse than stuff they bought a few days before.

I label everything madewith additives asBE enhanced and its also labelled by costing twice as much.
