Correct me if I am wrong on this please.

If filling is for 100and duration only 30 minutes then you get the effect of 100 for 30 minutes. So how long does it take a stomach to empty to allow more items in??

Unless they've fixed it recently, the stomach will go from 100 filling to 0 in 45m. This is at a gradual rate (although it may only update at particular times, like every 5m), so for every minute the filling drops about 2.2 units. The amount of time needed to allow more items in would depend on what you want to eat or drink. So if you start at 100 in your food stomach and want to eat a Blob Candy (filling 10) you'll have to wait 4 1/2 minutes. If you want to eat a Vercupti (filling 66) you'll have to wait 30m. You don't have to wait until the stomach is completely empty before eating more food.

If you ate/drank something with 100 filling and a 30m duration, there would be 15 minutes where the effect has worn off and you couldn't have another one since you wouldn't have any room for it. If it was something like Vasarian Brandy where it has a 50 filling and 30m duration, you drank two, after they wore off you could drink only one.

All the dev notes mentioning digestions have stated that the stomach empties in 30m, we're trying to find out whether the current 45 duration was a last-minute design change (which would really suck) or a bug in digestion (which would suck slightly less).

Does that cover what you were asking?

Yes it does, thanks.

So it is important to know the duration and filling ratio of your food as it will eventually "tie up" your stomach so to speak and keep you from eating more.
