OK, I am a lazy bumm and I still lack a few boxes for master. So I thought it would be mightily clever (although a bit expensive) to run a factory of Protato and eat them all for xp. Luckily I just did a run of 5 to test it first...

I got nada xp for the factory run (shouldn't I get 10%?) and nada xp for eating the Protato. When I manually craft them I get 100 xp for crafting and 50 usage xp when eating them.

When did this change? Or has it always been that way for food? Back to clicking I guess :/

Factory xp has always been flaky, some people claim to always see it, some people claim never to see it, and some claim to see it only on equipment factories.

AFAIK, you do not get usage xp for items made in a factory, only hand-made items. I have no idea whether this is a bug or intended, though.
