Thread: Food/Drink stacking...??
Thanks
Same stat modifiers don't stack so if a food boosts health by 200 you can't take a drink that also boosts health by 300, you can only use one or the other. There is also a cap (I believe it's a capbut maybe wrong) of an increase of +20% of a stat from food/drink but i'm not sure if this includes spicesas some spice modifiers are +20%.
Taking Booster Blue spice, with some Breath of Heaven and Pikatta Pie is a good combination but maybe expensive.

Yes, wrong about the cap on health, I found this thread that should help:

The defensive foods, such as Vegeparsine, Elshandruu, Pikatta, Air Cake, and other, are an entirely different conversation which is still ongoing. More to come on these. For the time being I can tell you that some people swear by these.
Now to the buffing combos I use:
You can take any spice with any food and there should not be a conflict. In my opinion, there are only two spices even worth considering: Neutron Pixie and Booster Blue. It is remarkably easy to determine which is best for you as well. If you have any advanced healer in your template, like high level Medic, CM, or Doc, you want Booster Blue. If you dont, you want Neutron Pixie. There, wasnt that easy? Now for the hard part....FOOD.
Food can vary dramatically from Chef to Chef, so I will just tell you the combos and you can shop around on your server to see what is available.
I use one of the three following combos usually:
- Blob candy/Spiced Tea (medium buff to action and mind with very long duration and low fill)
- Blob candy/Vagnerian Canape (more powerful buff, but the canape will need to be reapplied more often)
- Spiced Tea/Kiwik Clusjo Swirl (another powerful buff, with a bit more of a mind buff for healers)
- Mandalorain Wine (simple one hit insta-buff. It can not be kept up indefinitely unless the Chef was extremely creative in his schematic, but if he was he most likely had to trade power in order to get better duration or filling which ends up making this less useful than the above combos in many cases. But for a quick hit that boffs EVERYTHING, this is it.)
There you go. There are a LOT of other options, what with Gruuvan Shaal, Scrimpi, Kanilli wafers, caf, Ahrisa, and dozens more, but these are what I use personally and that I believe to work for me.
Hope this helps
