Advanced BECs are generally considered the best if you have the resources. Otherwise Regular BECs work too, but getting the resources isn't overly difficult (just set up a harvester on Lok Wild Wheat and another on Tat Fiberplast)

I just made the jump from BEC's to ABEC's, and oh my...I wish did that sooner. The stats on the stuff right now on Bria are crap, so it's not too expensive, and you don't feel bad grinding with it. And it cuts your grind time down considerably (I think it's 50 XP vs 75 XP for the ABEC).

Strongly recommended.

Sorry if this has been asked and I am sure it has but search isn't working (as if I should be suprised.....) so it's just easier and faster to ask. So here goes, what is the best item to craft for chef xp? I just picked up nov chef and before I start buying crafting resources I wanted to see what is best to craft.

Thanks in advance.

Soypro at Novice, train up the Desserts branch, then Kiwik Swirl.

And just so you know the sticky named "READ THIS" has a link to the chef FAQ. It's still mostly accurate, although a few changes (with the CU and some other updates) have invalidated some of the info. You can no longer eat subcomponents for the usage xp, for example.

By the way, didn't Higginsis mention something about an updated FAQ a while ago? Why is that slacker still in charge?
