#1) Read the Chef FAQ
#2) make your crafting macro, useing soypro
#3) grind with soypro to synthsteak
#4) grind with synthsteaks up to kiwik swirls up to master
I chose to go novice --> 1-0-0-0 --> 1-3-0-0 --> 1-3-0-4, then went for master.. guess it was so i could answer my own curiosity about how good a non-Master Chef could craft with all the available experimentation points. After you get the kiwik swirl schematics, it does go alot quicker. Good luck, hope this helps you to get to master quickly.. and dont forget, u need lotsa berries, lots and lots of berries.

Additves are an optional component, you don't have to include them.
If you want to use them (they are handy for boosting buff size/duration), you first have to get a tissue/supplement (not sure what they're called nowadays) from a bioengineer, add water to make a light food additive (gained at Dom Arts IV, listed under the "components" section of the crafting tool's food tab), and then put that into the final food. There are four types; one for each food experimentation category (filling, flavor, nutrition, quantity); and each type comes in three sizes (one for light additives, one for medium additives, one for large additives).

I wouldn't bother making synth steaks unless you have hides to get rid of if you do then yeah they're the way to go til dessert 3. (chefing is fun
it's great roleplay for my alt, it's nice to have a "normal" character aside from my FS pursuing toon)
