The one in the FAQ stickied at the top is:

http://home.comcast.net/~sciguyco/swg/foodPricing.htm

Personally any guide I'd listed wouldn't be a guide at all. I started with a base cpu price and then alter it from there depending on demand.

My starting estimate for a single stack is:

2* ( 3cpu * Flora/Chem/Mineral/Gas/Water + 15cpu * Meat/Hide/Bone/Milk + ContainerCost + AdditiveCost )

For factory crates, multiply by 25 and round up to the nearest 500 or 1k.

That generally covers my cost and includes a markup for profit.

For anything that can be gathered with harvesters, I get it myself nine times out of ten. The 15 cpu for creature resources may get adjusted depending on what my scout/ranger suppliers are charging me. And for high-demand items like Brandy and Bivoli I may bump the price up a bit.

The ContainerCost for drinks uses the same 3cpu for the gemstone plus 160-200 to cover the cost of the trim if its a cask.

I calculate a target price using 5cpu for grindable material, 20cpu for high quality flora or other machine harvestables, and 40cpu for good meat/milk/hide/bone, for all resources including additives. Its high enough to allow me to purchase most of my resources/components if I want, but still seems a bit low compared to the current market so I add 50% on top of that. I also round everything to some multiple of 1k per item.

If you just want some numbers, these are some of my good sellers (crate prices):
175k: Bivoli, Thakitilllo
150k: Brandy, Canape, Vegeparsine, Pikatta Pie, Accarragm, Vercupti
125k: Blue Milk, Snow Cake
100k: Ahrisa, Synthsteak, Veghash

My goal is to offer high quality food for average prices, and I think I'm pretty close on my server.

Basically i shouldve asked the question "what do you charge"
Im making a bunch of Food/Drink and im not 100% sure how to price it.

Chef's on my server have different ways of pricing, so its hard to get an accurate estimation.
You have some people who sell very high, for good stuff, but then you also have the Chef who sells Good stuff at average to low prices because ..well basically the can. Theyve made a ton of money so they can sell at whatever they want and still be rich.

6cpu mineable resources (if you can have a harvester for it)

50cpu for creature resources (so you can buy from other people)

Example:

BE'd + Casked Vasarian brandy (assuming your making everything by yourself)

([6*335] + [50*20]) = 3010c per cask, 75250c per crate

Tell you what dude I charge next to nothing and I still make a pretty good living all you have to do is keep steady product coming. I started chef about 3 months ago with about 1 million credits and now have about 12 million not counting all the money I have spent since then. If you arent looking for a get rich quick profession being an honest chef pays off in the long run.

Ive actaully been a chef for a very long time, since before the Chef publish, back then i made a ton from my MIND food/drink menu back then, good ole Fishak, Glazed, old Bivoli etc.
But I got into this crappy lifestyle grinding these professions out UGH so i havent kept up on all the new chef foods and how it is nowadays. But so far the food/drinks ive made sell very fast as usual, but i was just afraid it was because i was underselling.

We ll that kinda sucks, sincei have only been a chef for 2 weeks and went from300K ot 7milll. band jami yep you are right your prices are low, way to low in fact. Those are some hight quality stuff. but you must not care about the credits or the time put in it. Or you must be your own BE, becase they cost be 50K a crate of illent.
