Thread: Vasarian Brandy ingredient change?

Is it me, or did they recently change the fruit and berry requirement for Brandy?
A month or two ago, I swear that we could only use Talusian berries and fruit, but now, I can use fruit/berries from anywhere in the galaxy with no problem. In fact, the recipe still states that you need Talusian berries/fruit (now watch, I'll check later and I'll be wrong)...
Don't get me wrong, it's nice to be able tochoose from a broader spectrum of ingredients (especially the way Talus has been getting garbage for flora lately), but it would've been nice to know when this was changed. Perhaps I didn't have to wait around as long..?

It's always been that way 
The food description says it uses Talus ingredients but the schematic recipe has always accepted non-planetary-specific stuff... not too surprising, since a lot of descriptions for food (and other items) make absolutely no sense. Peek at house deeds sometime; the "stat" area will list multiple planets as being able to hold the house, but the description beneath will say "only on __ planet". Gazillions more like that...
Ironically, the best fruit roll Kette has had in a while IS Talusian, so that's what I'm using anyway! Heehee.

Ohh man you scared me for a minute! I thought at first you meant they changed it to the Talusian requirements.
When the revamp first came out, some people, such as myself, could only use talusian ingredients in the brandy, while others could use any berries/fruits. A few days later, I was able to make it with any berries/fruits like everyone else. Besides that, it's been like that for the majority of the time for myself.

no offense but you are a dumass I have been a chef for 4 months now and you have been able to use whatever you want since the last chef revamp sorry to rain on your parade.
