im pretty sure that the only thing we can use "meat" in is blue milk - vercupto and bivoli both require specific meat types (insect and carn)

As a chef I'll take whatever large stack of meat is available for a reasonable price, we use varied meats for our schematics, but my most common use for meat is making Bio-engineer additives, those are listed at 33% FL 33% pe 33% OQ (although those stats are said to be incorrect). If those stats are good... great, if not, I can still make usable additives by using high quality flora.
