its just not a good comparission though.
1st) she used 10 crafting tools, therefor effictively making 10 BSNs at the same time. A factory has to wait till one is finished before starting the next.
2nd) she didn't experiment the BSN. If she would have experimented them for 86% or so, then I doubt she could have gotten this amount. For factories you only experiment once and then you are done.
3rd) You start factories once and then you can do something else. The longer time is the price you pay for that. Beside it creates all with the same serial number and makes crates, a lot better to handle

That's actually been the case for quite some time.
Factory time = 8s * complexity
Tool time = (roughly) 2s * complexity + time to choose all the options.
So even using just one tool, a crafter can hand-make an item about 3-4x as fast as a factory. Throw in mutliple tools and a crafting macro, and a factory gets left in the dust.
Now the real issue (in my opinion) is the large difference between manufacturing time of tissues vs. additives or food. Heavy tissues take (IIRC) about 200s per item, mediums about 150, and lights about 120. Even with time required to make the additive, subcomponents, and the final food, it's not too hard to consume tissues faster than it's possible to manufacture them, and that doesn't even take into account the greater difficulty getting the large stacks of meat required for the tissues.

I think actually BSN also take around 190-200 secs per stack. Depends on how many exp steps were used.
But it only takes 88 seconds to make the MFA (i think).

if you check my last responce you will get the times for a INN but to make the LFA from a MSN in a factory takes 72 seconds and a HFA from a INN takes 88 seconds while a full run of INN's in a factorytakes 232 seconds ( 3min 52 seconds) while a MSN takes "only" 136 seconds (2min 16 seconds) these are each... meaning the INN's take 38+ hours to make a full run and doing it by hand takes about 15 hours..with crits..
but look at the message again to get details
