Ok folks I made some 50 fill vercupti about a week or 2 ago. Sold it and left the odd crate with guildmates. Last night a guildmate tried to use it and got a email saying that my vercupti has a item not in game anymore and he should delete the crate. So did something happen with Vercupti? I was forwarded the email and I have submitted a bug report.

I'm not 100% sure on this, but I think this bug has something to do with how full your inventory is.... if his inventory was close to 60, like 59 or something, have him empty a few slots, log out, back in and try again.

Talked to my guildmate, he said nope his inventory was no where full. Around 10 items on self and 15 in pack. SciguyCo any answers? Is this a wierd bug or is a random CSR thinking 50 fill Vercupti is a exploit and imposing his lone wolf will?

i've had that happen to me as well.....foods that i have made not even a week ago will not come out of the crate and i get the same message....i dont know why it happens

This happens occasionally with crates of anything (not just food). But overall it's pretty rare. What I think happens is that a crate has a "base item id" associated with it to figure out the stats of the contents. When you go to pull an item from the crate, it looks up in some master item table for the details of the item (icon and stuff). If the base item id is something that does not exist in the master item table (due to a database glitch, I expect), you get this error.
This did happen a lot right after the chef revamp with a few particular items (Flameout was the most common). I think for some foods, the changes between the pre- and post-revamp versions were so large the devs ended up making a new base item id, and deleted the old one. But that obviously hasn't happened with Vercupti, so I'm leaning towards database hiccup.
If logging out and a re-login doesn't help, he can see if waiting until after a server reset does anything. If neither of those help, he could try contacting a CSR to see if the item can get uncorrupted. Worst case scenario, the crate is a total loss, and he might as well delete it.

don't be too overly worried... i had this happen when i was trying to pull out a candle from a cratethat i bought from an architect. i was pulling them out just fine using them as decorations, but when i got to the tenth one (10 out of 10) it wouldn't let me pull it out. Don't be too worried. 50 fill vercupti is perfectly fine.
