Have not tried it myself yet, but I have heard people saying it is great since that food will get let you get back up instantly if good enough stats. But do that really help when against something that death-blows? I guess that you will stand upp immidiatly but still have 0 HAM left. Question is do you have time to make a quick heal? Usually the db comes very quick (only exception is ranged NPCs)

Works quite well for Jedi or other templates who can heal themself.

Has saved me from a DB in PVP already. So it works... just make sure it's 99% max... anything more and you'll just get a second incap right away.
