We can't have just anybody wielding these incredibly potent items. There should be a certification, at Novice Chef, that is necessary in order to equip chef clothing!!!

I hope chef clothing isn't contraband.

Just trying to lighten the tone a bit.

I agree wholeheartedly. You might be lightening the mood but I feel very strongly about this.

good lord no there shouldn't be. What? is the chef mafia gonna get any non chef who puts one on?

The market for the new chef clothing is going to be miniscule as it is, making it so only chefs can wear it will limit it even further. At least now we tailors may be able to sell the odd chef hat to anyone who wants to look different.

Should be at least cert for the master hat or whatever.

And I'd kill for an edit button.

The Master Chef tag is MORE than enough for me. And chef hats like the pointed "daisey looking hats" will loose all novelity once they've been in game for a few days.

Were it not for the skill tapes I'm going to put in my chef outfit I wouldn't even bother with one. I have a white outift that looks nice already. I'm just saveing up my tapes to make a good suit.

Paranoia is a very comforting state of mind. If you think they're out to get you, it means you think you matter.

I heartily agree.

Although, IfSoE is assigning and implementing the toque as the 'chef hat':

1. You should have to have some sort of cooking skill to wear one. (see lower items)

2. Add different hats, one you can wear at Dom Arts I, one at Novice Chef, and one at Master Chef.

3. Aprons should be wearable by any Novice Artisan. (no, not by MBH's named Ronalld MacDonnal, wearing all yellow and red trim garments, and sporting red hairin our lovely new clothes. /sigh)

3. If every person can wear the dorky hat just like here in real life, it's not a 'chef' addition, it's a game addition. Who knows if it would have been added at all if it weren't for us asking for them over persistance and time on these forums.

And for those of you who think it's weak...

Just don't wear one, prepare your insults for them in game, and stop wasting board space with insulting posts about the dumb hats, they are there. It's trivial enough for you to be able to drop it, and for those of us who like the idea to trump it up.

IMO, The hats are great because Chefs in general are crazy. We should get stupid hats, over everyone else. <----except for maybe these guys.
