Instead of adding fishak and all the other "lost" schems back into the game, I would propose a different route (one which might actually be the devs idea). I would like to see the lost schems, along with a few new ones, to be "mission schems", in a similar vien to the RIS armour (but not sucky
) Thus you would have to undertake a set of missions to get the schematic (after which you would PERMENANTLY have it).
MY reasoning is thus: I would rather the experienced chefs, or at least those willing to put SOME time into it, be able to reap the rewards, and thus the credits, of the profession. I mean there are already those of you who want the chef hats to have "certs", thus eliminating the posers. This would be the same basically, no poser chefs, looking to make a quick cred.
Please post your thoughts
cheers!

Not that it would be added, but a great comprimise. I would not mind doing a simi-long quest for those schematics. It would be a nice distraction after you hit master as well for new players.

Ok, I have seen some of these "quest schematics" get mentioned on the TC forum (the scythe looked especially cool) and I see one problem with having those in chef. They looked like they had a crafting limit, similar to factory schematics, but not requiring the exact same resource name. Since food is a consumable, we would have to have at least a 500 item limit, with 1000 not unreasonable, but a limit would probably be included at some level. If it was an Angerian-level mind boost, that'd last, what, a couple days? Or should we charge 200k+ per crate?
Don't get me wrong, I think this is a great idea. Imagine getting the recipe for pre-patch Tatooine Sunburn from the cook in Jabba's Palace. But I don't think it'll be anything that a business plan can be built off of.

That's why I was thinking something more along the lines of a perm. schem. No crafting limits, and no resource limits...it simply get's loaded as a perm draft schematic.
cheers!

I'm pretty sure the temporary quest schematics will exist for chef food. I'm looking forward to them (and yes, I will charge what people are willing to pay). But it's more likely that the old food will come back in later publishes as new skills are added or found.
