Chef Archive

Howdy!

Well I finally bit the bullet and made a descision - I am going to SEE what this profession is all about!! I have actually been fascinated with the Chef profession for some time, and always thought "How neat it must be to be able to make all these great foods!" Well here's the only problem - now that I hit Novice... I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed. NOW my thoughts are "Good gawd.... I'm ableto make ALL these foods??" I'm already a Master Doc so I have 3 food/chem factories, and am used to harvesting... but beyond that... I looking for some helpful advice from you veterans.

So basically... tell me all about it! What are the pitfalls? What are the highlights? What would you say you need to harvest MOST of? Do you just have to check swgcraft every day for 50 different resources? One thing I am really curious about is how difficult do you find it to keep UP? Do you end up having NO time to do anything else besides harvest, hunt, and craft? How do you keep all the foods STRAIGHT in your head?? Unfortunately I know virtually NOTHING about the back-end of this profession, and I don't know any chefs personally in-game, so I really don't have a mentor.... and am looking for a good "starting-off" point. Any tips or tricks or even friendly advice would be much appreciated.
