So if I may ask a follow up question , you say that on alcohol , the stats dont matter , does that stand true for all subcomponents involved in food ?
ie: does the quality of dough used as a subcomponenet in making other foods affect quality of the final product ? or will crappy dough (made with low stat resources) make the same final product as using a dough made from good resources .

That is currently true for all food subcomponents, most can't even be experimented. Some components are used as foods on their own (like Pastebread in Sweesonberry Rolls or Veghash in Vegeparsine) so can be experimented, but when they're used as components any improvement done with experimenting (or including additives) is ignored in the final item.
Before the revamp chefs got back in February, quality of components did effect the final food, but I don't know if that's ever coming back.
