The problem is its effectivness is limited by its high filling and low uses but I found a "workaround" (probably get fixed) that will allow you to buff at the increased rate indefinately given certain requirements are met.Let me explain. Anytime you use Havla your wound/buff time is increased greatly allowing you to heal roughly every two seconds. What should happen is the previous wound timers are removed but the DEVs made a slight oversight and this isn't the case. As long as you keep healing and heal every five seconds or so (I sit down and wait till my mind is back up for an adequate timer), then you can keep buffing at five seconds. With my alt I was able to turn lines of 15 into lines of 3 in a matter of a few minutes. Pop a brandy, take a seat, inform the line to be READY to tip and then go to town. You can churn enormous profits at 30 seconds a buff rather than the 102 seconds for a non-havla buff.
From the way I read this, if you pop (one) havla and have the mind, you can essentially continuously buff every 5 seconds indefinitely.
Being a master chef and also having a master doc, i have never seen or heard of this until now.
I'd test it now but i am at work.
Thanks to anyone who wishes to reply.

i was buffing my guildies for a DWB raid and ate havala... i didn't stop buffing people and it ran out every time. i don't see how this would work... every time you buff or heal a wound with havala the number of times you can use it goes down by 1.

read this cliky thread that talks about it in more detail
After getting on AIM with the guy who reported this, it appears he may be on to something. I will try it tonight or this weekend to verify.
If this is a bug, this is a very good one that can in fact impact havla sales.

I don't have a Doc toonto test this withbut if it's true I don't see how the devs would not consider it an exploit.

did you set up your test you were gonna do? what he's saying is that once you get the msg saying you're ready to buff again then you hit the next buff is what i'm reading from the thread. maybe you could put the detailed explanation you got from him on here so we don't all have to IM him

With his permission, here is our chat log:
spiffyjr: When you heal you have a certain delay before healing again
pimpikoo: indefinite huh
spiffyjr: And you know the messaging
pimpikoo: ya
spiffyjr: Havla just reduces that timer but what it DOESN'T do is erase the old timer if you were healing without the havla
spiffyjr: So in effect, there's two timers in place
spiffyjr: Now then
spiffyjr: You buff and buff using Havla timer
spiffyjr: And once havla runs out
spiffyjr: You still have the previous "non-havla" timers
spiffyjr: cycling through the system
spiffyjr: from old heals
spiffyjr: If you time it just right, it's about a 5 second delay
spiffyjr: catch my drift yet? Heh
pimpikoo: so far sorta
pimpikoo: where i am confused is this.....
pimpikoo: every time you buff, it should consume a use from the havla
pimpikoo: and your limited to say 2
pimpikoo: 26
pimpikoo: how do you get around that?
spiffyjr: that's what i'm saying
spiffyjr: you get 26 havla buff timeres
spiffyjr: *timers
spiffyjr: once you burn through those
spiffyjr: you have 26 of the "non-havla" timers
spiffyjr: that are cycling constantly
pimpikoo: aahh
spiffyjr: and they never reset due to the bug
spiffyjr: as long as you keep them going
spiffyjr: so, it's an oversight by the devs that i capsized on
spiffyjr: when iw as bored one day
pimpikoo: so after you burn thru the 26 havla....keep buffing every 5 seconds and your good to go
spiffyjr: and i'm tired of waiting in lines so, heh, i let it be public knowledge
spiffyjr: Yep
spiffyjr: Because the way they coded it
pimpikoo: so what is the normal wait time?
pimpikoo: with no havla
spiffyjr: 17 seconds
pimpikoo: aaahhh
spiffyjr: 5 seconds is an estimate
spiffyjr: but it's close to that
pimpikoo: so this first 26 you can burn thru them fast if ya like
spiffyjr: Yah, you can, but... the timers are much quicker
spiffyjr: and it's harder to manage and burns more mind
spiffyjr: So I say 5-7 seconds is easy enough to keep the flow going
spiffyjr: Only reason I say 5-7 seconds is because of my stats
spiffyjr: I just sit down
spiffyjr: heal, wait for my mind to reach near ful
spiffyjr: and do it again
spiffyjr: that's my in-game timer so to speak
spiffyjr: so I dont miss anything
pimpikoo: so lets say, your line comes to an end.....and there is a 30 second gap, does the timers catch up and you are no longer able to buff on that one havla conintuously?
spiffyjr: yep
pimpikoo: aahh
spiffyjr: I tell my group
spiffyjr: Be ready to tip
spiffyjr: I'm going to blow through you quick
spiffyjr: most they time they get it
pimpikoo: kk so thre trick is to keep em coming or buff yourself
spiffyjr: yah
pimpikoo: to keep the rythym
spiffyjr: i like to just buff a little
spiffyjr: when i see huge lines
pimpikoo: this is interesting
spiffyjr: i'll pop in, burn through a line and stop when either the line runs out or someone messes the system
spiffyjr: quick 150k each 10 minutes or so
pimpikoo: i posted this on the chef forums
pimpikoo: i am waiting for our chef correspondant to respond
spiffyjr: it'll get fixed eventually :-D
spiffyjr: it's definately a bug
pimpikoo: you may have found something that is very very interesting
pimpikoo: ya
spiffyjr: i've known about it for a month or so and just told guildies
spiffyjr: but hell, public knowledge is good for people :-D
pimpikoo: if it doesnt get fixed soon, and people use it like you, it will impace havla sales
spiffyjr: surprised no one else found it out now
pimpikoo: .whap
pimpikoo: lol
spiffyjr: true
spiffyjr: lol
spiffyjr: it's easy to test
spiffyjr: just buff yourself over and over
pimpikoo: i will this weekend
spiffyjr: run through 100 buffs and you'll believe me :-D
If this is in fact true, this needs to be fixed asap. =) Thanks to spiffy for bringing this to light. Even if he did have fun with it for a while
If anyone can confirm this please do.
Thanks
