Hehehe... shameless vent... but I'm OK.

Ok... so last night I get ahold of some excellent berries... not only better then what I HAVE been using but apparently some of the best yet spawned on our server. Now i just finished a run of brandy, but being curious as tohow these berries wouldaffect my brandy power, Ifigured why not make a schematic tonight so I'm all setfor next run.

So... I get my components together and have at it.... and BOOM. Had probably the best (re luckiest) experimentation run ever I've ever had with tons of amazing successes.... and end up making the best brandy I personally have ever made. Not that it was light-years different form my previous runs... only about 5 points really... but it breached a personal goal, so I'm very pleased with it. SO... I happily name it and create the schematic. And then I realize.... The alcohol. Due to either mis-reading or just poor memory, I realize the alcohol crate I was pulling from was the LAST of it's run.... nuthin left besides IT... and only 15 or so left in the crate after my previous attampts. Noooooooooo!!

Hehehehe... well you can see where this is going... I CAN'T DUPLICATE IT!! Made a fresh run of alcohol... and NUTHIN. Bespin - no effect. Making good stuff... but basically the same as what I have been making up till now and not hittin that goal. (sigh...)

I feel really... really... dumb.

Anyone else do something like this??

I did it too couples times. Very depressing knowing you got to eat up tons more resources and will finally give up and take almost as good.

Happens to me on occasion as well, I try naming my runs differently and applying organization, but it still manages to happen hehe

I had my amazing succeses had all the stats where I wanted em had part of one last box to fill up with an extra point to experiment with I figured .. sweet I finally got what I was looking for (415/45m/18use/49fill) and BAM criticial fail with the last damn point lol.

BTW how many attempts do most of you take to make the schematic? I know I usually go through between 25-50 attempts to get my schematic, but I know exactly the max that my resources will make, and won't settle for less untill I have tried more the 50 times .
