Thread: Flameout, with filling additives

I remember seeing a post here ages ago (I think it was from our esteemed correspondent) saying that Flameout was a pretty useless recipe, but that it might benefit from filling enhancing additives. I've been wanting to try this for a while, and finally got around to it. I made some Carbocaloric Eliminators (44 filling bonus) and did a few tests.

Here are my resources:

Reactive gas - Outellou (995 DR, 929 OQ)

Tubers - Ikoct (643 DR, 905 FL, 913 PE, 756 OQ)

I also used casks for the container.

The initial combine was:

77% damage reduction

3 attacks

36 filling

quantity 6

3 points got the filling down to 33. 8 points got the damage reduction up to 100%. 2 points would bump the duration up to 4 attacks. As I'm an 11 point chef, the best results I got were either 100%/3 attacks/33 fill or 95%/4 attacks/33 fill. Or I could leave the filling at 35-36 and get 100% for 4 attacks. Decisions, decisions...

Anyway, the mass reducers do work, and impressively so. Without the additive, the filling was 67 on the initial combine. That's a huge effect. Unfortunately the resource requirements for the additive are too freaky to mass produce these, but I do plan to do a limited run with my small stash of domesticated meat.

Savage humbatas (sp ) drop about 40-60 each harvest ( corellia )

I use carb reducers on mandalorian wine and so far this is the best thing I've found to get the meat from ?

I still think the flameout is useless. Even in a duel I'd take 2 brandy + a synthsteak over 1 and a flameout. damage reduction foods shouldn't stack and 3 hits isn't very much

I did the same thing, I can't remember all my resources off hand, but I was using:

Tubers 900ish oq, 900ish PE, 800ish FL, 900ish DR

Reactive Gas 900ish DR 1000OQ

Cask was used as well.

Final result was:

99%/3attacks/33fill

I dont think the additives I used were that good though, hard to find good domesticated meat.
