Honestly? I don't use any technique that calculates my prices. I sell at market prices. Check out some vendors, see what the going rates are, and price accordingly, making adjustments as the market forces change. That is what real companies do.

I made a pricing scheme for myself that I think is very fair.

I price by resources used, 8 CPU for regular flora, 10 CPU for creature flora, and 20 CPU for milk. Anything I buy from someone else I put in their cost to come out even (meaning BE tissues ortrim).


It was very fun for me to tinker around finding out what I wanted to go with. If you have the time you might want to try out different prices, see what sells better, and then work from there. Or if you just don't want to bother with it you can check out another chefs vendor on your server and get an idea from there.
