Thread: Any 0 4 0 4 BE with master CHEF how good is your stuff!

I would like to make great chef stuff but I don't want to Master BE, anyone out there with this configuration...what are you losing if anything?

I am going for it
however am only
Chef: 0/0/3/4
BE: 1/3/1/2 - will drop to 0/4/0/4, but felt like making creatures for some people
w
ill keep up updated, at the rate i am going I grind 1 skill of BE/Chef a week, with exception of top level cause they take a while

I would buy my BE stuff if I were you. You are never gonna make great chef foods without master Be. You can't even make the additives that go in to bivoli, canape, thak, or anything that takes Heavy Food Additives without Master BE.

I decided to get an alt and make her the BE, right now my main is Master Chef, Master Artisan, Master Merchant (with some scout thrown in) and my alt is going to be MBE. MRifleman, with scout and medic. At the moment, my alt is 3-3-2-4 bio-engineering and it IS tough going. It's hard to stay online long enough to grind the alt (real life intrudes :smileyvery-happy

, plus do everything that has to be done for Master Chef, but I'm determined to do it Also, consider this, if you don't master BE, you only end up with 7 experimentation points (which is what I have) and I am finding those last three points crucial, even to make BSN's. Plus Okin_Sin's point that the heavy food additives come at Master BE. My advice is to Master BE, or like was said before, buy what you need.

I've got a BE alt and the grind to master was the hardest thing i've done ig. But the money saving were worth it and i agree with the others, it would be better to master it, or just buy them.

Yup thats the thing, you could make useable foods easily, but not the best, which i don't think alot of chefs are that fussed about being.
Tho it would be nice to be able to make higher than 86's, my brandy would be kncoking on +430 with those, but one day.

Your going to have to buy heavy tissues.
With only 0404 Be your going to be dropping about 10-15 points off your Brandy and ahrisa at most. Most skill foods will either drop 1 point or not at all. The biggest issue is you have to keep trying for amazings to make the tissue schematics. Someone with 10 points only needs great successes.
Some people will not use a tissue less than 86%. Food with low 80's tissues will sell just as fast at maybe a slight discount. You will never be the best chef, just because you will never be able to make the best food. But your food will be far from crap. I would be making +410 brandy instead of +419 and +400 ahrisa instead of +408.
