Thread: with which foods can we safely use low level tissues and resources and still max them out?

Hi,

I guess my question is geared towards those "crafting" or percentage basedfoods like pyollian cake and bespin port, with some considerations towards synthsteak, and the like. For example, I am a 10 point chefwho used some great resources on pyollian cake and I maxed it out with 3-4 experimentation points remaining. Therefore what have you found as the "minimum" quality stats to max out some of the these types of foods? It would be great to buy BE tissues in the 3's to 4's[last stat digit] and average organicsto producegreat, low cost, product.

Thanks in advance for your advice.

I'd agree havla is a primary one, as is citros snow cake imo.

And maybe veghash, i max it out on nutrion with about 5 points left.

You have to differ between "maxed out" and "maxed out".

Let me explain.

There are some foods that have a cap somewhere, even if you go higher it doesn't benefit more. Havla is one (once you reach 100 you're done), Bivoli (+25 cap, even if you need high value tissues to reach +25), Smuggler's Delight (don't go higher then +99 or it won't work)

If you can reach this Hard-Cap with Exp-Points left and there's no really useful other line you can experiment in (Smugglers Delight you can only exp on the filling) you can use cheaper tissues and then probably use a Exp Point more to reach the Cap value

If "maxed out" now means "I've maxed out nutrition, can't put more points in it, and still have 3 left" then its not necessary that you can use cheaper Tissues.

Brandy for example. You usually max out on nutrition after 9 or 10 experiments. Does that mean you can use cheaper tissues? No, since the "Base-Buff" will still max at the same value and the multiplier will be less then. You'll only get 410 brandy instead of 420 before.

Not sure in which of those categories Veghash falls. Might have a +25 cap since its a Skillmod, but i've not read anything about that... might run a few tests, i'm curious now

If its +25 then you definitely can use cheaper tissues there, since its pretty easy to hit +30 with it.

To my knowledge veghash does not cap at 25, especially for non-rangers. It is something I can test with my alt who is slowing moving up the ranger trees.

But I do agree that Veghash and Havla are the best prospects for lower end tissues.

Good idea for a thread. I am looking forward to experimenting with this some later.

IMO all skill bonus foods can usually use low end tissues.

But how low you can go will depend on resources. +80 might work for certain resources and +82 may work for others.

For something like Havla, I think a low-end tissue would be just as good, simply because it takes about the same experimentation to hit 100 with an 82 additive as it does with an 86. Skill foods might be able to take a lower-end tissue, because only integer values matter. A 25.2 Bivoli is no better than a 25.0 Bivoli (but they are better than a 24.9 Bivoli).

There is a cap for it i believe, but its high, but generally +30 veghash is what people want, any more than that and the difference seems to dwindle.

There is no cap on Bivoli or Vegash. Unless someone can post experiments proving that +26 does nothing over +25 for Bivoli, there is no cap. The caps are built into the food. Noone(to my knowledge) has gotten +26 just because it is next to impossible to get. You need near perfect resources.

Same with Vegash. I would put the cap around 34 or so with perfect resources. I can get +32 with my resources and 81% tissues.

No skill foods have a cap on the usefulness. If you add one more to the buff, you get more of a bonus. The exceptions as pointed out above are the foods that deal in %'s. Havla is 100% heal recovery time. More than that is useless because you can't reduce anything by more than 100%. Same thing on Smugglers. It would be the same as havla and 100% would be the max, but since it is bugged 99% is the max.

Well BE clothes have a cap for skillbonus at +25. You can put on a suit with +100 injury treatment, i think it even shows up in your skillwindow, but it will not work.

Could be the same with food.

And if the chart i have is correct then +26 Bivoli is impossible (11.8 max on Bivoli, 120% max on Additive=25.96 Bivoli)

Flameout is another one. I used the Heavy Food Additive and I got it at around 140%. Even when I didn't use an additive It was around 60%. Probably a Light Additive would suffice.

Parwan Nutricake dosen't need much of a flavor enhancer to get it past 100% reuse time reduction.

Good thing too, cause 20k milk for a full run of flavor enhancers is a pain would hate to have to worry about quality on top of that.
