Thread: Your thoughts for stats on Steak

I'v recently made some steak that I can get the % up to 46% but the attack is only 34. The last batch I made was 45% 36 attack.
So what im asking is, would it be better to make 46% steak at 34 attack or 45% steak at 36 attack?

I would vote for more attacks. That's a pretty good steak, too. The difference between 1% reduction, taken after all other calculations (mitigation, armor, etc) isn't very much, but 2 extra attacks are always a good thing.
At least that's my opinion. Haven't made a batch in a while either, my last didn't come out too good at 40% for 28 attacks. I have some better resources now, though, so I should give it another go...

I would recommend asking this in your server forum. Your just going to get a lot more combat responces I would guess.
With that said I have always gone for the highest % Reduction. While I'm thinking 36% 42 attacks is actually more useful, I have yet to have anyone request something with maxed attacks. Mine has been 45% with 28-34 attacks for the past few months.

I do 38%-42%, 40 attacks. It is a brandy "power or duration" arguement.

I just don't know the main use for this food and that is why I can't come to a decision to what stat is more useful.
40-44 attacks is still going to run out a long time before the filling is gone. It is going to last about 25% more, but that might just be a 10 second bonus. Its definatly not a food for a long drawn out battle.
Then on the other side the 8-10% more bonus isn't exactly a lot either. With armor, there is probably very few cases where you are ever going to notice much of a difference.
I've actually considered stocking both versions, I've just never had a good opportunity to make it. Other things just have always had factory preference.

i basically don't get why ppl even use synthsteak, when exo-protein is around... i mean... 45%, 34 attacks with 28% fill.... or use exo with 27%, 18 attacks, 5% fill... but as long as ppl buy it... i'll make it.
i've noticed that ppl on my server look at the dmg reduction first... and most don't even look at the attacks.

I think a lot of people use Synthsteak to save themselves reather then as a preparation type of deal. Like yesterday I was fighting nightsisters and had two spawn on top of me one with a Stun Baton one with a Power Hammer. That is where I eat synthsteak to get me through that without a death. In that type of situation, I think the 45% 36 attack sythsteak I made was perfect.

If you guys don't know what steak is used for or why it is but don't get why ppl use it then it means
1) You don't pvp
2) If you do pvp your server kinda sucks
On bloodfin this is one of the most used foods along with brandy and pikatte pie. This stuff saves your ass in PvP.
But thanks alot for your thoughts all! Ill probably do both kinds.

41% Reduction
31 Attacks
25 Filling
10 pointer.
