One of my customers brought this up to me just now (no, really he did). How about something that could be added to foods that made your filling go down faster? Yeah, maybe that's what T'illa T'illa is supposed to do, but the trade off doesn't really seem to be worth it and not many people stock it or use it (please correct me if I'm wrong here). And the filling additive that's already availabledoesn't speed up the lowering of fill, it just lowers the initial fill value (which could be argued is almost the same thing). But having something that is slow digestion versus fast digestion would add another layer of planning to people's fighting experience and preparation for PvP
2 main problems I see with this:
1) Programming/development time to track different fill reduction rates depending on whether they have a laxative or not. There are several things that need work in the gamebefore something like this gets any attention.
2) Potential abuse -- players could conceivably stack more(albeit lower) affects on themselves in combinations not currently possible, but this should be balanced by the lower buff sizes. This would most likely be used for defensive items (Thak, Veronian, Trimpian) and not for stat-enhancing items (vasarian, ahrisa, etc.).
Benefits:
1) Chefs would benefit from people buying more of the specialty foods that aren't bought as often (Trimpian, Blood Chowder Chor-Nor-Hoola).
2) BEs would get new content... errr, well, they'd get something new to make for another profession to use.
3) Players would be willing to try new combinations of foods in pvp or perhaps high-end pve play
And finally, before anyone responds and says "that's a crappy idea" all I have to say is this: Yes, yes it is.

That sounds like a good idea for a new spice. I don't know many people that even use muon/pixies anymore.

If we made it a spice, then I can just hear a smuggler now when he's delivering it:
"Things were looking kind of tight there for a while, but I managed to slip it by the blockade"
Yes, puns were definitely intended.

Love the idea, although since the devs can't seem to get normal digestion fixed to 30 minutes I don't expect that some varying time would be feasable. ![]()
