I've seen references to this... how exactly does one work on this area? I know that I've filled out domestic arts and I'm currently working in amassing my general crafting XP... when I went to do a bit of experimentating I have 7 pts to work with... I'm assuming to work on the experimentation line increases the amount of pts you have to put to different aspects of our craft.

so what do I need to do to increase how many I have??

thanks!

In the Chef skill tree, the Cooking line gives you more experimentation points.

Your experimentation points in domestic arts only apply to domestic arts recipes. When you become a novice chef it goes back to two for chef recipes.

And although I kind of agree with it, its a real bummer to watch your regular "Amazing Success!!" pop up replaced with "Critical Failure"

Ok... that being said... how many experimental pts can you get with just the artisian recipies??? is 7 the max? if you can increase how many you have available; how do you go about gaining additional points?

Thanks for clarifying that Domestic Artis recipies have different experimental points then the chef recipies.

umm if you click on the engineering tier it shows you that you can get experimentation points from learning them also. So to recieve all the experimentation points for Artisan you need to learn both the engineer branch and the domestic branch. I don't know the exact number right off had, but I have all of domestic and 3/4 done with my last block of engeering and I have over 10 points for sure, probably 15.

Odd that they would do it that way... how exactly does building a driod aid you in experimenting with making a drink?? Thanks for the input, that explains it!!! (as I only went up the Dom Arts line)

Also, if your human you get an extra artisan experimentation bonus on top of domestic arts and engineering. I have Eng2 and DA2 and I already have 6 or 7 points as a human female.

As a Human Master Artisan, I have 11 Artisan points with which to experiment.

I also have 11 as a human Master Artisan, although I had 11 before I became a master. It's my understanding that the Calamari race has the most base experimentation points for the Artisan class. Mine only goes to 11...

and just for the record... I'm human, and have mastered ONLY the domestic arts line and have 7 pts.

so.. .those that have the whole artisian line mastered are getting only 4 more pts. but I might want to train up a few other fields just to give me a few more points...

(like the minimum for getting the 11 experimental points!)
